It is another busy morning for Kim Seokjin.

Unlike his college mates, Jin is awake at four o'clock in the morning. He combs his hair at the mirror, before checking his jacket that is donned on his black tee.

His roommate stirs in bed, barely ignoring the light that is shining at Jin's side of the room. The blonde friend sits up and yawns excessively. It is not enough to distract Jin's attention.

"Bro," the sleepyhead sighs. "It's four in the morning."

"I know, Pabo."

"Yah, what the hell are you doing at this ungodly hour?"

Jin swiftly turns around and drops his shoulders, implying upmost disappointment. "I swear I was rambling about it for one whole hour last night and you can't remember it now. What kind of friend are you, Min Yoongi?"

Yoongi blinks his eyes repeatedly and then gasps, "Ah, that doll job. Are you seriously doing it? I thought it was a joke."

The comb in Jin's hand flies towards Yoongi who catches it in time. Bless his good reflexes for being a top basketball player.

"Ani! It was never a joke! It was not even worth my saliva talking to you!"

"Yah, keep it down! You're going to wake up the others."

"Like I care!"

"Aish, Jin! Come on!"

Yoongi attempts to console Jin but the latter is too frustrated to listen that he grabs his bag and slams the door behind him. Yoongi responds with a spur of anger by throwing the comb at the door and cussing at his roommate for leaving the lights on.

Jin marches down the corridor, tousling the back of his hair. He should not have burst in anger but he cannot help it. It was not because Yoongi failed to remember. The thought of considering Jin's effort to earn extra money as a joke is something Jin finds unforgivable.

Life has never been easy on Kim Seokjin.

Jin is simply an orphan who tries to fit in the society, finding a place where he can belong. He perseveres a parentless life ever since he was a child. While many relied on their parents for support, whether it is financially, emotionally or even physically, Jin sought them in the divided attention of his sole guardian back in orphanage. It did not take him long enough that when he turned twelve, he knew he has to work hard to stand on his own two feet.

His matured thinking exceeded his peers and amazed his guardian. No one back in the orphanage could imagine Jin could enrol into college but because of that lack of expectation, his guardian could not afford his tuition fees.

Nevertheless, his guardian always supports him in any way possible. Jin does not want to worry his guardian too so he decides to take part-time jobs while studying. Sometimes Jin thinks he can balance his time well but in all honesty, his sensitive pride always gets in his way.

Yes, he is sensitive and easily throws his temper. Even though the job is basically moving boxes, he gets infuriated if he is treated unfairly.

But if he does not dispose this negative emotion, it will only harm himself.

Jin reaches his bicycle and rides it through the dimly lit streets. The night air is cold, the sweat on his forehead chilled like ice. He might have overestimated the travelling time to his new part-time job but he does not want to be late for it.

Jin was offered to sew a bag of a hundred dolls and return them in by the same day's afternoon. It is just one of those small jobs that he can earn fast money.

As he remembers that the savings for a new laptop is almost enough, he is sure that after this job, he can get his new laptop and carry out his due assignments.

Turning into corners and kerbs, Jin almost arrives to the apartment. He climbs the stairs and meets with the old lady who brightens up at his arrival.

"Yah, Jin! My sweet boy! Aren't you too early?" the old lady giggles, ushering him inside.

Jin smiles shyly. "I guess I am too early. Mianhae, Madam."

"Ani, ani. No problem. Over here," she directs him into her bedroom where the black bag is stood. "That is it."

Jin nods and enters to pick it up with both arms. He gasps alittle, as the weight precedes his thinking. The old lady wonders if he needs help to bring it down. Jin shakes his head, assuring her that he is fine. He is offered a drink too and still Jin refuses.

As soon as Jin leaves the apartment, the old lady waits at the window and watches the young man fastening the large bag on his bicycle. She is impressed to meet a hardworking and undeniably handsome young man. He would have earned easy money with those looks.

She is not sure if it is his humility that he chose to ignore his looks or maybe he is not confident about his looks at all.

Jin blows a relieved sigh because he finally has the bag sitting securely on his two wheels. He straddles over it and does not forget to look up knowing the old lady is watching him. He waves a farewell with a white smile. She cannot help but smile back, the lack of light hiding away her blushing cheeks.

Seokjin is just chilvarously handsome.

There is no need for the sun because his smile is enough to brighten up the day.
