Rachel had no idea when she drifted off to dreamland while crying her eyes out. When she woke just for a mere second she thought whatever she learned a while ago must be a dream but to her utter dismay it wasn't. She looked at the time, it's time to go cafe. She unwillingly got ready because right now she just wanted to disappear and go far away from Sehun as much it's possible.
She stepped out her room to be welcomed my the older version of cold Oh Sehun, which she always despised from the beginning. Sehun was scrolling down his phone sitting casually over the couch probably waiting for her to come out. The moment he sensed her presence in the living room, he stood up going outside, taking as a sign she quickly followed him outside. He was already inside buckling his seat belt, Rachel got in doing the same. Somewhere in heart she had a feeling that Sehun might not buckle her seat belt, a clear sign that he has nothing for her in his heart and he was just being generous to her all this time. Was kissing me also the part of being generous?
If only she could ask Sehun this. The ride to cafe was complete, except if sound of their faint breathing. Rachel looked at his ring again, but now she knew that what's the reason of that ring being there, and she somehow expected it but still she was hurt. Since when she had such feelings for Sehun, of all people why it has to be Sehun.
Sehun abruptly stopped the car, his grip on steering wheel tightened. Rachel was confused but Sehun remained quiet, she looked around only to find her destination, cafe was here. She get off unbuckling her seat belt and Sehun drove past her without even sparing a glance. That was the moment she realized they are back to where they actually started, she rubbed her aching heart, Gwenchanaa you got this Rachel!!
She entered the cafe with a heavy heart and welcomed by a very beautiful doll like figure. "Hello, welcome to Café Buzz!!" She stopped dead in her tracks, she could've fallen for her instantly if only she was a guy. Her piercing deep eyes, sharp nose and thin lips with chiseled jaw was breathtaking. Rachel felt her heart twitched in an unknown feeling.
She heard Taeyeon's laughing in the background, she shifted her gaze to her boss. The girl who welcomed her did the same with blank face.
"Tae Unnie, why are you laughing!?" Rachel asked when the other girl remained stoic. The said girl clasped her mouth to stop laughing, instead of answering Rachel she looked at the other girl "That's what happen when you take leave."
Rachel was confused, Taeyeon pulled her standing her face to face the other girl. "Rachel, she's our chef Bae JooHyun, who was on leave-" she then turned to the said girl, "And JooHyun she's Oh Rachel our new baker. I hired her recently."
Rachel bowed to JooHyun, the latter did the same. JooHyun smiled, "I'm sorry, I thought you're customer. No one was out so I greeted you."
"It's okay. I would've done the same."
As other staff members arrived, JooHyun left for kitchen, as soon customers would start arriving. Rachel couldn't help but stare at her back disappearing, Taeyeon clicked her fingers in front of her face, "Are you okay!?"
"Yeah, it's just that I'm feeling that something bad is going to happen." She replied at the now closed door of the kitchen. Taeyeon didn't know what to say so she left Rachel there contemplating over her thoughts. She had an uneasy feeling after meeting JooHyun. She felt a weird connection to the chef, as if she knew her from very long as if she saw her somewhere, but where?. How come she felt this when she met JooHyun for the first time in her life. There was something about JooHyun which was intriguing, and Rachel couldn't comprehend why she was feeling this way. In the end she shrugged off those thoughts, leaving to other kitchen meant for bakers.
