CHAPTER 36: BROKEN

Chanyeol never thought in his life that he would become traitor to his own country, who does that. A tall lanky man, with goofy grin, only had a dream of becoming a doctor, to save lives, not taking lives without even thinking twice. But everyone had their setbacks, and he also had one. He turned sour towards army people, towards country's system, who didn't even acknowledged his parents death, who were spying for their nation. The system downright disowned them, as their officers on being caught, leaving them on the mercy of superior's of other country, which resulted in their untimely death.

He still remembered the day when he buried them, holding pinky finger of his younger brother Taehyung. For years he wasn't able to explain Taehyung what exactly happened with their parents, the kid could never understand. He was no longer that happy virus after their demise, he hated everything around him. His only concern was his brother, he left Seoul and came to Bucheon, a place where he found a little bit of peace. The place where he first met Baekhyun. Byun Baekhyun, was Taehyung's senior in school and save him from getting bullied. Since then Baekhyun became another hyung for Taehyung other than Chanyeol and for the taller he became his escape, his peace, his crush. At a very early stage of his teenage years he knew that he's bisexual so when he told his little brother having crush on his senior he wasn't surprised, he told him that it's all return on his face, 'in love with Byun Baekhyun'

Baekhyun was completely oblivious of his presence, not having a single idea that Taehyung's brother has crush on him. After graduating from sunhwa high school,. Baekhyun went to Seoul for further studies and Chanyeol's crush remained just crush.

Just like Chanyeol, Taehyung too had bitter feelings towards the country and its system. They both harbored ill feelings which resulted in Taehyung becoming a professional hacker while Chanyeol stick to his medical professional as a forefront. They conspired many evil things against the country without getting caught. Who could have thought that the doctor helping in assassination with Kyungsoo could be the same doctor who could kill his own team members without thinking twice. To avenge his parents death, he partnered with enemies of the country along with his brother. He wasn't amazed seeing all politicians corrupted to root level. Be chose himself to be always behind the curtain. Hoseok was his childhood friend, and somehow suffered to equivalently because of system.

Hoseok was Chanyeol's face for the world. And then he met Baekhyun again as Chef Byun, in blue house and this time he made sure that the midget should acknowledge his presence around him, becoming Dr. Park for him. When he got the task of getting that hard disk and taking down the president with the help of attacking his weak point , his daughter, Kim Rachel, he knew it would be a piece of cake, until Oh Sehun showed up. He sent his men to US to kidnap Rachel, but damn Oh Sehun, surprisingly made an appearance saving her from his minions. That vary same day Sehun brought Rachel back to Seoul without her consent. Chanyeol was amazed at Sehun's profile, the dude has gone through shit of hell but he kept his head held high. He summoned his most trusted informer, Zico to find everything about Sehun other than his basic profile, anything which can be used to take him down. He knew Sehun won't be too easy to handle nor too difficult to finish.

Rachel being in blue house was his biggest advantage and disadvantage. He could see her, but couldn't do much in the presence of Sehun, but when Sehun called him out to be the part of his team to protect Rachel, and retrieving the hard disk, he was more than happy. This was his chance, he had access to everything inside team, he was always aware of what Sehun was planning and how they're getting closer to have that hard disk. Chanyeol tricked Jungkook threatening him with his pregnant wife, while fir NamJoon, it was her mentally disabled brother and his wife worked as bait.

He was shocked, would be an understatement, when Sehun said he will be collecting disk from Jungkook. Jungkook didn't see him, with the help of Hoseok, he drafted another plan, which was that Jungkook and NamJoon will elope from the scene with the hard disk, what he didn't knew that Baekhyun was driving Jungkook to the scene, and things just got fucked up. Not knowing Baekhyun was their leader's love interest , his minions hacked his GPS, and was this close to finish him off, if only Chanyeol didn't blocked him, getting his car knocked out, falling deep into cliff. There was no way he would've survived if he didn't jumped off the car right when it broke the railing. Pretending to be killed, wasn't the part of his plan, but if he survived that accident without a scratch that too would create suspicions .
