KK is legally adopted by Jackie's parents, so she calls them mom and dad. She and Jackie are also technically sisters, but don't really mention anything about it to other people because then they are going to ask why and it just gets too complicated.

"Ayo ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Seoul. Local time is 9 am and the temperature is 64 F. For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. At this time, you are allowed to use your cellular devices...,"the captain said, waking me up.
The plane had just landed and the captain was making the typical landing speech. My head was pounding and my ears were hurting. They must have popped while I was asleep (If your ears are ever like that, yawn. To prevent that from even happening, chew gum or keep on talking. Moving your jaw or mouth helps.) I feel so crusty and dirty. I've never really liked going on long plane rides. They always make me feel nauseous. Mainly because of the food that is served. The smell travels all throughout the plane. Just thinking about it makes me shiver.
I've never really liked traveling. I was always more of a homebody. Spending long hours in a car or plane, just makes me feel sticky and disgusting. I feel crusty. I don't know how to explain it, but that's just how I am. The only traveling I like to do, is to the fridge. You can't keep me away from food. I love food.
"Jackie. Jackie? Jackie!" KK yelled at me, snapping me out of the food trance I was having.
"Huh?"
"I was asking you a question, but you were just zoning out, like you usually do."
"It's not my fault you're so boring. I can't help it. I just zone out," I said, pouting.
"Whatever," she rolled her eyes, "Hurry up and get your stuff. We're about to leave the plane."
"Okay."
I got up from my seat and stepped into the aisle. I opened the cabinet thingy and pulled out KK and I's stuff. We had both packed a reasonable amount of clothes that could last us about a month. It was really just a weeks worth of clothing, but if you get clothes that you can mix and match together, it'll last a life a little over a month. I couldn't bring all my clothes from America, so I just had to make it work. Most of my clothes are just sweatpants, leggings, and hoodies. My usual attire. I didn't have to waste space in my suitcase to put makeup, so that gave me even more space to put my beloved sweatpants.
I don't wear makeup because I suck at it. No matter what I do, I always mess up my makeup. Most of the time I look uglier with makeup on. KK doesn't wear makeup either, but she is so good at it. When KK and I were younger, we used to joke around about makeup. One time, our mom asked when we wanted to wear makeup. KK then responded, when I get ugly...actually, when I realize that I'm ugly. We both burst out with laughter and our mom left the room shaking her head.
"It's about time the plane landed," your mom said, "My put was starting to hurt."
"TMI mom!"
"Well when you get as old as I am, you'll understand."
"You're not even that old!"
"Aw, thank you. You're such a sweet daughter."
"You're mother is right. You are so sweet!" Your dad said, while he reached over and grabbed your head to smother you in kisses, "And don't think we haven't forgotten about our other beloved daughter."
"Wait, what?" KK asked, clearly in terror.
"Come here~" My Dad said, leaning in to attack.
"Please, nooooooooooo!"
"Guys! Hurry up! We're the only ones left on the plane!" I said.
"Whoops!" My dad said, finally letting go of KK's face and setting her free.
We quickly exited the plane and went to retrieve our other luggage. While waiting for our luggage to come, I bumped into a guy. He was taller than me and had blonde hair. From what I could see, it was definitely bleached. He was Korean and had blonde hair, doesn't seem natural. He was also wearing Gucci... Who wears Gucci at an airport?! Either he is super rich, or... yeah he is super rich. (Y'all know who it is)
"Oh, I'm sorry!" I said.
"Huh?" He said, confused. I had spoke in English on accident.
"Oh, sorry. I'm from America, so I'm used to speaking Korean. Also, sorry for bumping into you," I said, switching to Korean.
"Oh, it's okay. It was partly my fault too. I wasn't watching where I was going," he paused, looking at me weirdly.
"Is something wrong?" I asked confused, "Is there something on my face?"
"No, there is nothing on your face. You just look different? I don't know, something about you just seems off."
"Excuse me?" I think I heard him wrong.
"Sorry, if that sounded super rude. You just look different. You don't look Korean. Are you half something else?"
"Oh! Haha," I laughed, showing off my dimples, "I'm Chinese, that's probably why I look different!"
"How?"
"Um, two Chinese people got together and had sex?" I said nonchalantly.
"U-uh!" His face getting redder and redder, "That's not what I meant. I meant how is your Korean so good?"
"Oh, my stepmom is Korean. She taught me everything I know."
"That explains it," he said while nodding.
"Come on, we found your luggage!" KK screamed at me.
"Well I guess this is goodbye."
"Wait," he reached out and grabbed your hand, "I didn't catch your name."
"It's Jamie," I said, while turning around to leave. I didn't want to give my real name to a complete stranger. Who knows, he could have been a creep.
"Don't you want to know my name?"
"No thanks, it adds to the mystery."
"Haha, okay. Suit yourself."
I left the mystery man and headed over to KK. She handed me my purple luggage case and we joined our parents. I wonder who that guy was. He was pretty cute.
(Y'all know who it is. *cough, Gucci man, cough*)
