"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard Flight 4B7 with service from San Francisco to Seoul. We are currently third in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air in approximately seven minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for choosing Mountain Airlines. Enjoy your flight."

I put in my earbuds and tuned out the captain halfway through the announcement. I was sitting next to KK in a row of three seats. She was sitting next to the window, and I was sitting on the outside. It turns out that we had the seat to ourselves, so we could avoid social interaction.

"Hey can I have some gum?" KK asked.

"Oh sure," I said, pulling out a pack of gum from my bag, "Here."

    "Thanks."

"No problem," I said. I always have a pack of gum with me, and it's always mint. I have this thing with mint. I love everything mint. I love the smell, the taste, and the way it tingles (the mint chapsticks that kind of 'burns' your lips). No matter what I'm doing, unless I'm eating, I will be chewing mint gum. It's just so good.

^^^^^^^

"Hehehe," a baby giggled.

"Oh...my...god," I said to KK while grabbing her shoulders and shaking her, "IT'S SO CUTE!"

"I get it Jackie," she said, "You can let go of me now."

"But it's just so cute!" I squealed and turned back to look at the baby. It was so adorable. It had the cutest little button nose, little puffs of hair, and it had 2 little baby teeth. It was just so cute. I can't control myself around cute things. I either freak out and squeal out of happiness, or I freak out and start crying over how cute it is. The last time I cried over something cute was two days ago while watching Kung Fu Panda 2. It was an effing baby Po. Do you know how cute it is?!

"Would you like to hold the baby?" The mother of the baby asked, "I saw you freaking out over there."

"Yes please!" I said, trying not to blush out of embarrassment.

"Here," The mother, Karen, handed me her baby, Jack. He was so cute! I think I have baby fever.

"Well aren't you a little cutie?" I said in a baby voice, "You're going to be a charmer when you grow up. Hey, KK. Do you want to hold him?"

    "No thanks."

"What, why? How can you resist this adorable face?" I said while Eskimo kissing Jack (rubbing noses together).

"I feel like if I hold him, I'll drop him. He's going to be really messed up because of me."

"Well, that's not depressing at all," I said while handing Jack back to Karen, "Besides, I don't think you would be that bad of a mom."

"Ya, no. I would be a terrible mom. I can barely even comfort you when your sad."

"That is true. You way of comforting someone is to pat their head, really awkwardly, and say some stuff that you think is helping, but it really isn't."

"Hey... okay, fine. I guess that is true, but in all seriousness, you would be a great mom."

    "Thanks?"

"I'm serious. You would be a great mom. You were pretty much my mom for some of my life. You still act like a mom to me."

"It's not my fault your so immature and need to be mothered by me."

"Haha," she laughed sarcastically, "Now leave me alone, I want to sleep."

    "Okay, goodnight."

    "It's literally 7 am."

"Well, it's probably night time in Korea."

"Whatever you say," she muttered, half asleep.

"How do you fall asleep so fast. You can fall asleep anywhere!" I scoffed, "Good morning."

    "Good morning," she muttered.
