(Paul POV)
I left Gary alone.
Why?...
I dunno.
"Hey, Paul!" Zoey wave at me.
"Hnn... Hi..." I continued walking.
"Why were you mean at me at lunchtime?" She made the puppy face.
"Why were you being annoying at lunchtime?..." I responded back.
"Sorry..." She whispered.
"It's fine..." I replied.
She showed a cherry smile.
"I can't wait for contest class though!" She had still had a smile on her face.
"Wait up people!" Gary yelled.
"Hey, Gary!" Zoey waved at him.
"Is Veronica around?" he asked Zoey.
"No. Why?" She responded.
"Pheww! I am tired of running from her." He swept away his sweat from his head.
"That's rude Gary!" Zoey snapped at him.
"Ehh... Hey look it's Leaf and Dawn!" He left me and Zoey behind.
"I will get him back!" Zoey had a determination on her.
"Whatever..." I got inside contest class.
~5 minutes later
*Bell rings*
Nurse Joy appears. I don't see Mr.Wallece.
"Sorry, Mr.Wallece had an emergency today. But you can use your Pokemons to do some performances to practice or you can do a battle with a beautiful combination. The other option is to talk to your friends too." That's all she announces.
I saw Dawn took out her shiny Ralts. She was battling May and her Combusken. I guess they let out May from detention.
"This is gonna be interesting..." I heard Zoey whispered before she left.
(Dawn POV)
I was glad that May was back. May ask me if I wanna battle. I wasn't sure since my Pokemons only know battling style. I wish I had my other Pokemons. But I love these other pokemons too. So I accepted. Why? So my Pokemons can learn some combination.
"So ready?" May asked.
"Sure!" I replied.
"Combusken take the stage!" May cheered.
"Razor dazzle for this battle!"
Sighs.
I also had change my words.
"Cute Ralts!" May smiled at Razor.
"Thanks!" I smiled.
"Combusken fire spin!" May commanded. May had began.
The fire was spinning around. It had a hole in the middle. That gave me an idea.
"Razor use psychic. Then use psybeam on it. Then spin inside the fire beam that we created. when you let go, spin inside it!"
The fire spin turns into a rainbow color, while Razor spin beautifully in it.
The fire spin rainbow blows up into sparkles.
"Wow, Dawn! That's was amazing but here I go! Combusken use mega kick on the ground then use sky uppercut on Ralts!" May Combusken did a swifty move. Combusken hit Razor really hard but Razor was still able to get up.
"What a unique battle! May is on the lead! There only four minutes left on the clock!" Nurse joy announced. She was being refereed?
"Combusken use Overheat! Then spin around!" May instructed.
The flames around Combusken turn into a tornado flame. It was gonna hit Razor.
"Razor use protect!" I commanded.
The flames were surrounding the sphere of protection. Razor was floating high up to the flames. Then an idea came.
"Razor spin inside it! Then I will tell you when to stop!"
"What are you up to?" May asked.
"Now!" Then Razor lets go of protect. The flames on the sphere burst into fireworks flames when Razor jump down to the ground.
"Time is up! The winner of this contest battle is Dawn! May was behind for a couple of points! Great job!" Nurse Joy announced.
"Congrats!" May hugged me.
"Thanks!" I kinda smile.
"You're amazing! Why don't you be a coordinator?" May smiled at me.
Why? That's the thing I can't.
Sighs.
"I'm a trainer! And that's my goal!" I fake smiled back to May.
"Excuse me!" I turn around to see Zoey.
"Uhm... Yes?" I asked.
"May I have battle with you?" She asked me. She had some spark in her eyes.
Maybe something happened to her? That's why she acts like this...
May was gonna respond but I interrupted her.
"Sorry but I can't. I am gonna ask Nurse Joy to heal Ralts for me." That all I told her.
"What about next time?" She added in.
"Fine..." I took Ralts with me. And left her behind.
May followed me to see Nurse Joy with me. I was just... Happy with the battle we just had.
~ Time skip.
We only had five minutes before the bell rings. Everyone was... Excited for their next class?
"Crystal do you know why everyone is excited?" I asked her.
"Well everyone next class is battling class!"
"Oh, that makes sense. Thanks." I replied.
"No problem! Oh! One more minute!" She cheered.
That minute past. The bell rings. Everyone leaves for their next class.

Sorry, it's short but next, it's gonna be an exciting battle.
I change her ralts. I named it Razor. It's a boy. I updated in chapter 2. Razor is very sharp at understanding and doing things quickly
