The Ties That Bind

All Macy's life, their parents had looked at her and treated her differently. Cord her older brother kept her sane as he knew their parents were very irrational regarding Macy.
From their ill treatment of her since the day she was born, Macy stepped back emotionally scarred and had no ties that bound her to either of their parents as they never connected to her on purpose.
From birth, Macy was bottle fed by others as her mother refused to even hold her to breastfeed her. Her mother even tried to deny she was their birth child. Denial that was shoved back in her face as wrong seeing as the pack doctor delivered her himself.
As a baby, being turned away from connecting to her parents right away, caused her wolf to wake feeling her deep need.
It was all because she had been a twin, and the other baby died. He was who they saw on all ultrasounds and not her as she was hidden she was told. They were unprepared as their son was birthed first, breathed the air before he died to their shock. Then she was born, a much hated daughter as they wanted their son not her.
As much as possible, her birth parents put her in daycare, even being a newborn, they cared less.
When she turned three, their parents got pregnant again, this time with a single boy. The pregnancy was watched carefully. Both Cory and her were placed into the care of others as their parents fought.
Their parents were heard planning on giving up Macy. Cory heard and had a fit. They both were placed elsewhere as Cory didn't want to lose his sister.
So they were living elsewhere as their parents went through the pregnancy. When the baby was born healthy, Cory was collected and introduced to his baby brother, but he was angry as they purposely left Macy behind who wasn't introduced to the baby at all.
There was no denying the new baby they named Keith was Cory and Macy's brother, as they all looked like siblings.
When Macy turned 5 years old, both parents planned to send her to boarding school. When Cory heard he demanded to go as well. Both parents tried to fight for him to stay, but Cory refused seeing as their parents were spoiling Keith rotten and even ignoring Cory. As for Macy, they just tried to forever ignore her which plainly hurt Cory seeing the way they were treating her.
So Cory and Macy were both sent to boarding school as Keith was spoiled rotten and uncontrollable. Both parents were spending all their time with keeping him settled, giving him whatever he wanted.
The pack had been watching closely seeing as their parents, Lyle and Heather Zachary were the Gamma couple. They had the two parents agree to send both kids away since they were adamant on sending Macy away. Their parents couldn't control Keith so why keep Cory when he didn't want to stay.
So the pack took custody of Cory and Macy, the Luna spent time with both of them, and saw the two were very close. Unlike with Keith as he had spent time being coddled by both parents.
They had pack women shop for both of them, had their bags packed and the pack, all except their parents and Keith who gladly went to town, said their goodbyes before sending them off.

Macy and Cory stayed at boarding school. Cory had been requested home on breaks by their parents but since Macy hadn't been, he told the Dean he needed to stay for his little sister.
Dean Haggard agreed, he had been kept informed by the pack Alpha regarding these two siblings. He informed Alpha Seth that Cory wanted to stay for Macy. Alpha Seth agreed it would be best as their parents are very irrational about Macy.
