On Dayna's 16th birthday, since she had no desire to shift, her parents did not take her to the pack house to have the Alpha witness her shifting into her wolf.
She was actually in the middle of her final exams, studying and working part-time at her job. Her wolf also wasn't insisting on coming out yet.
They lived on the border between the pack lands and territory. The house was protected on the pack lands but the border was just over their back yard. The territory wasn't as protected but they had watchers living on the territory so it was semi-safe.
She lived with her parents, as well as her older sister Sheila who currently was unmated and had two kids by different fathers. Her sister had been a little slut and now had two kids to raise with the parents' help.
But the parents both worked, had jobs outside the home. Sheila was expected to clean up after the kids as their parents provided food, clothing and shelter for them all.
Dayna worked part-time to provide herself with spending money to buy her own things, unlike Sheila who never worked a day in her life.
She kept her own room clean, did her own laundry and kept her room locked up tight to avoid the kids getting in her room or Sheila from grabbing and using any more of her clothes.
She did so now as she caught her sister wearing her brand new clothes before she even got to. Sheila smirked at her sister when she was caught. Like the stupid tramp she was, she was caught getting out of a guy's car, straightening Dayna's clothes back into place.
Dayna snorted at her sister, spun and soon had her room locked up tight with dead bolts so her sister couldn't steal another item of hers again that she bought and paid for herself.
As soon as their parents got home from work, Dayna informed them that Sheila needed a full exam by the pack Doctor. Including blood tests to see if she was pregnant.
Dayna was 15 at the time and Sheila 16 and a total slut. They all went to the pack house where both Sheila and Dayna were fully examined.
Dayna was tested and given all her shots as if she had shifted. She also requested a two year birth control as it was the largest the Doctor had at the time.
But they soon found out that Sheila was pregnant of course. The slut hadn't updated her shots like required even though her parents had taken her straight to the pack house and dropped her off to do so.
Then a year to the day once her shots lapsed, Sheila got pregnant again as she only had a year birth control injection after the baby was delivered and deliberately never updated it.
Dayna was disgusted with her sister. Her wolf refused to shift and be initiated into the pack because she didn't want to have a mind link with her disgusting sister.
Dayna for the next two years, had her yearly physical exams and all her shots early. Even overlapping injections so she was well protected. When she found out her sister was due for hers, she told the pack Doctor to inform her mother and both parents will bring Sheila in, hog tied and gagged.
Dr Evans smiled and Dayna said yeah, Sheila I bet will try to get pregnant again and since our parents are fully supporting her fat ass and her kids, they'll drag her in for her needed injections.
He didn't believe her so after her own injections, they went to the office and Dayna called. Her mother groaned out pack infirmary's number, oh my god your pregnant. Dayna snorted and said I am not. Dr Evan just informed me that Sheila's injections are about to lapse.
