Hi! Whoever's reading this thank you for deciding to read my first ever multiple chapter Wattpad story.
I just wanted to get a few things out if the way, and I'll appreciate if you took your time to read this.
First and foremost, this story is mine. I created in the depths of my mind and if you see it anywhere else on Wattpad or a different story sharing platform published without the username HelloImABookworm or a similar name then that story is PLAGIARISED!
Just saying.Second, I grabbed inspiration for this story from works such as Silhouette by Hermyne Khaling (which is on Wattpad, GO READ IT), In 27 Days by Alison Gervais (aka HonorInTheRain in Wattpad, WONDERFUL BOOK), and finally One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus (LOVE IT).
Third, this is directed mostly to my friends, teachers, and family, as you can eventually tell if you read this book a multitude of characters and places are based on my real life. There are characters in this book that are similar to the actual people I know. Of course, not to make you worry if you are one of those people your name was changed. A part of what makes this book so close to my heart is because of how I can just see the little things that I recognize in this story.
Fourth, the main setting of this book is a town named Elmwood, IL. When I first started writing this novel I did not notice that there was already a whole real town named Elmwood in Illinois. I just want to say that my story does not take place in the real Elmwood, IL. The Elmwood that I'm writing about is purely fictional.
Fifth, in the media of each chapter, there will be different things such as quotes, pictures, and songs. Mostly songs, though. There will most likely be a song of the chapter. The song may or may not have a direct meaning or connotation to the story. I think I'll just put random songs I like so I can share my totally wonderful (not) music taste. Because on Wattpad, you can share anything. HAHAHAHA
Finally, I'm going to post this story every week on Friday. If I miss a day I'll figure out a way to make it up. I'm open to any feedback. ANY. Even if it's hate comments. Did you read that right? Yes, I said hate comments. My logic behind that, when you start to get hate comments that means you're really good because that person takes the time to trash your really good work when there are tons of other good works to trash. Although, I will say please attempt to refrain from hate comments. If you want to leave feedback please write it in a kind manner. Thank you!
So without further ado, let The Unorthodox Mystery of Adrian Pi commence.
