Before Evelyn knew what was happening she was running to Emily and Ben's Cabin, she had to talk to someone, about what just happened, she wasn't sure what her feelings were about any of it, it all just seemed to be swirling around in her head. Evelyn opened the door to see both Emily and Ben sitting at their kitchen table drinking coffee.
"Evie, what the hell!" Ben exclaimed, almost spilling his coffee on his lap.
"I'm sorry Ben, I just really need to talk to Emily right now." She said out of breath.
"Is everything alright?" Ben asked, his voice changing from annoyance to concern.
"Yeah Ben everything is fine," She paused, "Everything is fine where you're concerned, please I just need to talk with Emily."
"Ok, are you sure? Mason didn't come back did he? Was Colton with you?"
"Ben, stop! Mason didn't come back, everything is fine." Evelyn was starting to get annoyed, she just wanted to talk to Emily, who was just sitting there, not saying anything to help out the situation.
"Ben" Emily finally said, "You go over to the main house and get some breakfast, If anything Evelyn says is worth being addressed to the rest of the family I will let you know, alright?"
"Ok," Ben kissed Emily's head and left.
"Emily, why didn't you say anything for so long?"
"Sorry, it was just kind of funny to watch you guys banter back and forth."
"But I really need to talk to you, and this is huge, I have no idea what to do, or what to do?" Evelyn said. Emily had just now noticed, that Evelyn was pacing, repeating herself, and shaking like a loon.
"What in the world has gotten into you? What happened?" Emily asked, now very intrigued, and a little concerned.
"Um, I'm not sure, I'm still wondering if what I think happened actually happened or if I'm just imagining the whole thing." Evelyn was still pacing.
"Sit down, let me get you some coffee," Emily commanded, and Evelyn followed instruction. Emily grabbed a mug and the pot of coffee and poured some for Evelyn, and sat back down.
"Evelyn, look at me, what happened? You are starting to worry me."
"Uh, Ok, so um, I'm pretty sure, that Colton just told me that he has feelings for me, and wants to be with me, whatever that means." Evelyn said, picking up her mug of coffee.
"What!? Are you serious? Is he serious?"
"I don't know, Emily, that's why I needed to talk to you. What do I do?"
"Ok, was it out of the blue?" Emily asked, sitting straight up, ready to analyze the situation.
"Um, yes, but I kind of pushed it out of him, but I didn't mean to."
"Ok, I don't know what that means, so just tell me what happened from the beginning." Emily said, interlacing her fingers and placing them in her lap.
"Beginning like when he first got here?"
"No" Emily rolled her eyes, "From like this morning, what happened this morning? start there."
"Oh ok, well, you know actually he had been acting weird, the past couple of weeks, but he was still pretty much himself, so I didn't think anything of it. But then this morning, really strange. He was outside waiting for me, and when I walked out, I heard him say something like 'Just tell her' or something like that."
"Oh my gosh! He's been trying to tell you how he feels for a long time, that's so sweet." Emily interjected.
"I'm not done yet."
