The next day
Finally settled. Rodney and I walked around the house together. This is now our life. A fresh start.
Rodney and I moved our boxes inside. Kyle and Nyah ran around the place.
"Baby don't lift anymore unpack while I bring the boxes in." Rodney said.
"Okay." I replied. I started with the kitchen.
I unpacked the pots and pans. Then I moved on to plates and cups. Before I knew it I was done with the kitchen.
Then I unpacked the bedrooms slowly. Its a 4 bedroom with 3 and a half bathrooms.

"Baby take a break." Rodney said from behind me as he massaged my neck. I continue to set up Nyah's room. Rodney stood in front of me.
"Listen baby give yourself a break." He said.
"Okay." I replied.
"How you feel?"
"Alright. But I have something to tell you."
"What? You pregnant?"
"No baby."
"Oh what is it? Is it bad."
"I guess you can say that."
"Tell me."
"Okay. Before I met you I kinda had a bad reputation with niggas."
"I know."
"What?"
"After I met you in McDonald's I eventually did a background check. The only thing I got was what I heard about you from the streets."
"So you thought I was gonna be easy or something?"
"No. I decided to be with you because I saw something in you. Under all that hurt. And I said maybe I can turn her life around so she wouldn't have to resort to what she does. And I did that."
"I'm haply you did. So you didn't know about my parents?"
"I was told that you were flat out broke. People said both of your parents were dead but I didn't bother to listen to everything I heard. I wanted to find out for myself."
"Wow."
"Don't think I love you because of pity or your money tho. I love you for you Heaven."
"I love you too Rodney."
"I wanna treat you like a queen for the rest of our lives."
"I'd love that."
"One day I promise we gonna get married and have beautiful kids."
"Don't promise just do it."
Rodney kissed me. I wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Let's do this after we finish unpack." I suggested.
"You right." He replied.

A week later
We finally finished unpacking everything. Today I'm taking my siblings to get registered for school. Rodney Is job hunting. I have a feeling that things will be way better from now on.
