Lydia had planned for this party for weeks. It wasn't her party this time so she didn't have to plan for things like drinks and decorations, but she did have to plan things like her outfit, her makeup, oh and making sure Stiles' new girlfriend wouldn't poison her again. Although stiles didn't trust Lydia when she said it, she was certain that Veronica was the one behind it.

Never the less, tonight would no doubt be a fun night, a night of no stress. After stressing over Stiles and his stupid girlfriend for months now, there was no way she was no way they were going to ruin her night. Not this time. Lydia had checked with Scott and even stalked all forms of Veronica's social network to make sure that they would not be at this party because she wanted them out of sight and out of mind.

Among the preparations she made, Lydia was currently scanning the room for her next plan; finding someone to spend the night, or at least a couple of hours with. Lydia knew she definitely was going to have to be drunk to get through the night, but as soon as she saw Veronica and Stiles walking into the party, she realized that the amount of alcohol needed to get through the night was going to be much more than she expected.

Veronica looked different from what Lydia could see, she dyed her hair an ugly shade of orange- an odd look for someone who used to be brunette. Lydia rolled her eyes and vowed to not think about her for the rest of the night, she definitely wasn't going to ruin it for her. She walked over to a table with shot glasses littered around it, grabbed one and threw it down her throat.

Stiles was having an equally bad night. Veronica gripped tightly onto his arm as they walked in, constantly muttering annoying words into his ear.

"I honestly don't know why you wore that tonight, you look like such an idiot." She said. He sighed and shook his head, trying not to acknowledge her words.

"Ya know, if you tried a little harder sometimes it wouldn't be that much work. It would make me look better too..." She said, looking around at people. Stiles couldn't take it anymore and he sighed, removing himself from her grip and stepping away.

"I'll be back, I need to go do something." He said, ignoring her obnoxious screams of detest as he walked away from her.

Lydia took a few more shots and then, she turned to get as far from Stiles and Veronica as possible when she was met by the one person she didn't want to see.

"Stiles. Go away." She said. As she attempted to push past him, she lost her balance slightly, almost falling over. Before she could fall, Stiles grabbed her by the arms, keeping her steady. He sighed, shaking his head.

"You really shouldn't drink the shit they put out at these parties, it could be really dangerous-"

"Is that what you came here to tell me? That you think I shouldn't be drinking?" Lydia asked, raising her eyebrows. She knew that wasn't what he wanted to say just from the look on his face.

Stiles paused for a moment and shook his head. Lydia shrugged as she looked up at him.

"God, you're not even supposed to be here! I checked to make sure you and the spawn of Satan wouldn't be showing up but I guess I was wrong." She said, huffing. When she received more silence on Stiles behalf due to the shock of what she said, she rolled her eyes and spoke again.

"Well then I guess there's nothing to say so-" She tried to get herself out of his grip but he held on tighter, stuttering out his words fast.

"No- I... I came over to apologize. For what's been happening the past few weeks." He said. Lydia looked at him, unsure for a moment of how genuine he was. She glanced behind him and noticed a very angry Veronica.
