When they arrived at Western Haken stadium, a group of boys was done using the stadium and was getting ready to leave. And like always, Isabel and Linda started gossiping over who looked cutest among them. Alyssa thought the one getting the microphones and amplifiers off was pretty cute. But of course, she didn't head over to start a chat and just leaned onto the stage- between the busy boys. She hoped her friends would do the same.

However, she was neglected. Linda and Isabel, their arms crossed behind their backs headed over to the boys. Alyssa quietly whispered swear words under her breath and stayed at her place. Blake looked at the two unpleasantly, grasping her precious Ryan.

"Hey boys. Getting packed up?" Isabel called for them.

The boy who seemed to be the leader of them looked up and smiled.

"Yeah. You?" He asked back. As he raised his head, Alyssa could see the sweat wetting his neck brace, and could sense he was tired.

"Just waiting for our school band club- they're putting on a show for us," Isabel replied, her hand already flipping her hair perfectly. She was so talented at this.

"I see. We're a band club too, actually. Mind if we join?" He asked, now his back was straight, his blue eyes staring straight at Isabel.

Isabel turns over and looks at Ryan. Ryan knows girls- always looking for chances to flirt- and agrees with the biggest smile. Of course, Alyssa knew he didn't really want other guests. He was just polite.

"Guess so," Isabel told him.

"So- which school are you from, exactly?" Linda asked.

The band leader grinned. "Willow High school. Downtown."

Willow high. Famous for top grades of the state, and high house prices- where the richies go. Isabel and Linda looked damn satisfied.

"I see. My dad told me I should go there- but I ended up at Haken." She said.

"Huh. Similar story. Mom wanted me to go to Haken. I'm Kyle, by the way. Kyle Giler." Kyle answered with his hand out for a shake. Alyssa found it too formal.

But Isabel looked pretty pleased and shook it.

"Isabel Ciscerdash."

The thing about Isabel is that her distant relative was Russian. Her last name is pretty hard to pronounce and spell, so most of her friends- including Alyssa- shortened it to Isabel Dash. But for some reason, Isabel preferred to speak her real name in new occasions with other people.

She and Kyle seemed pretty linked, both in wealth and personality. They looked both sleek and patient, elegant. Alyssa could see Linda was already dying over the idea of another couple.

"So, don't you think you should introduce your club members for us?" Linda asked. Then, she leaned over and whispered- "They're all looking at you, you know."

Kyle laughed and nodded.

"Sure. This is Elliot, (he patted the head of a red-haired boy collecting the wires) a freshman. That's Tyler over there, (he pointed at the tall, good-shaped boy with freshly brushed hair) my twin brother."

Tyler looked up from his guitar case and held his hand up, his face expression without change. He was cool and in pretty good shape, with a handsome face. He was almost like a model. The general 'girl's crush' kind of guy.

"You can see Jayce on the stage, (he nudged towards the only figure on the stage, cleaning his drums) he's a sophomore, that's Sean, (there was an average looking boy with a lot of freckles, putting the keyboards in order) freshman, and lastly, our faithful stage director, Josh. He's a sophomore."
