*Three Months Later*
"Alright, come on Ada. Again." I told myself prepared myself.
I went back to training, preparing myself for what was to come, whatever that may be. Knowing I could control lightening, I had to sharpen that skill and hopefully get to a point where I wouldn't feel like I was being ripped apart when I used that part of my powers.
I put my hands in front of me, and focused on generating the electricity within me. The moment the sparks were coming out of my hands, the pain was rising in my chest.
"Come on, breath through it." I said and pushed myself to keep going.
Lightening jumped between my two hands and I tried to focus it to form an orb but the power spiked and the lightening shot at the ground, causing the grass on my little thinking place to catch fire.
"God Dammit!" I yelled and threw my hands up, causing the fire to shoot up in the air.
"Woah babe, I'd say you look hot but I think that might end up with me getting burnt." I heard Dean say behind me.
I quickly moved my hands from the water to the fire to put it out and turned around to face him. "You could say I light up your world, or at least burn it down." I said and I looked down at the burnt grass.
"You're going to burn out if you don't take a break." Dean said, wrapping his arm around my waist.
I looked up at him, seeing the slight worry in his eyes. "You know I did live before you, I trained like this before I met you and I was just fine." I said.
"I'd like to think that you didn't live before me, that you were just sitting here staring at the water thinking, 'wow there's a handsome hunter out there and I just need to find him,' I mean that's what happened right?" Dean said dramatically.
I couldn't help but laugh, "Oh of course, the same way that you just sat in a motel room thinking about the freak you were going to run into. The monster that was going to almost kill you but also show you a good time." I said turning to him and wrapping my arms around his neck.
"You need to stop doing that." Dean said, wrapping both of his arms around my waist.
"Doing what?" I asked.
"Calling yourself that. You always give yourself such a hard time." Dean said.
"Yeah, we both do. Our unhealthy habits are kind of what make us work." I said.
"You're an angel, Adeline. You work so hard to be the best you can be, you work harder then anyone I know." Dean said.
"I'm an angel depending on my mood. Let me tell you something." I said grinning.
"What's that?" He asked.
I got up on my toes to whisper in his ear. "I'm feeling a little more like a demon now." I said and pulled back.
"Want to head up to the Impala?" Dean asked has he winked at me.
"Oh wow you really know how to sweet talk a girl." I laughed and he took my hand to lead me up to the Impala.
We made it up to the top of the hill, away from the beach and once we got up to where the Impala was parked, there was some girl sitting on the hood.
"Why is some girl on your hood?" I asked, letting go of his hand and seeing the girl smirk but seemed to be comfortable on the Impala.
She was a gorgeous girl, that actually looked a little similar to me. Anyone could tell that she was a badass and wasn't afraid of someone messing with her. She had long black hair compared to my dark brown, both with a loose curl that flowed through it. Her eyes were exact to mine, green in middle that went to a blue on the outer layer of the eye. The outfit she was wearing was made for a fight, but she wasn't afraid of showing off the body underneath because she wore a tight white v neck, ripped leggings, and combat boots. In other words, I couldn't stand her.
