Dean POV

Ellen threw a baby in my arms and we had to get out of the house. I stood at the top of the stairs and looked at Adeline one last time.

"We'll get to second base on the other side!" Adeline yelled and the ceiling gave way, immediately making me cover my baby's head and dart down the stairs.

I had to dodge debris after debris, barley making it out of the house but in just enough time to see the giant mansion completely cave in on itself.

"Where's Adeline?" I heard Rhea ask from behind me has the earth stopped shaking and the rubble settled.

"Hold the baby." I said has I put the baby in Bobby's arms and darted for the house.

"Adeline! Adeline!" I screamed has I jumped on top of the pieces of the house and desperately started to dig through.

Everyone came over and started to help dig through and try to find Ada. My mind was running overtime right now and all that I could think was that I couldn't have just lost the mother of my children. She can't be dead, this can't be how she went. I didn't even get to tell her I loved her before I left that house.

"Shit!" I screamed and threw a small piece of debris has hard has I could, then I looked down and saw the pole with Adeline's handcuffs still locked on.

"Dean it's okay, we'll find her." Sam said has he kept looking.

"I left her in that room. I couldn't pick the lock and then I left! I'm the reason that the mother of my children is dead." I said has I picked up the pole and showed him that the handcuffs were still attached.

"No, no, no, that just means that she got out." Ellen said has she started pacing back and forth with the crying baby.

"From earth she was created and earth she shall return. She's gone, it's why there's no body." Rhea said.

"No it meant she got out!" Jo yelled has she was also digging through the rubble.

I looked out towards the water, and felt like my chest was going to explode. "It means I just killed the love of my life." I said, not even sure if I was loud enough to be heard.

"You didn't do this Dean, this was Alana." Sam said, trying to walk through the debris to stand near me.

"I've been picking locks since I was probably five years old, how could I not pick that lock?" I asked has I turned to Sam.

"Guys, we need to get out of here. Demons will be circling and there's no way that we can take them and protect these babies." Bobby said, trying to hold himself together.

I looked down at my kids and I knew I had to get them out of here. If Ada were here she would be picking my ass for being here this long. I couldn't let her down again.

"Come on, let's get them out of here." I said has I jumped off the mansion.

"You guys can't give up on her, she's here I know it!" Ellen said has she put the baby in my arms and ran to the house, only getting stopped by Jo once she jumped off the debris.

"Mom, she's gone. She's gone, come on let's get out of here." Jo repeated over and over again.

Sam hopped off the house and helped Jo drag Ellen away. "No! Adeline!" Ellen cried out so hard that she couldn't fight off Sam and Jo has they pulled her to the group.

"Adeline would've killed us if she knew we were still out here with her babies, we need to get them back to safety. We will figure all of this out there." Bobby said, and I noticed the stray tears on his face.
