Week before baby due date is...
"How are you feeling?" Sarah asked me.
"Good. Ya know, besides the fact that one step feels like I just ran a marathon"
"Well just rest. Tell me if you need anything."
"Okay thanks" I still say thanks even though she's said that a million times.
I get home from work the next day with a bunch of people in the apartment.
"SURPRISE"
"Hey Mandi!"
"Sarah what's going on?"
"It's a surprise baby shower! Can't you tell with all the signs saying 'it's a girl'?"
"We'll yeah I just never heard of a 'surprise' baby shower. But thanks haha."
"Yeah I invited all your friends from work and your grandma came!"
"Um she doesn't know I'm pregnant..."
"Well she does now!"
A few hours later
"Presents!" Sarah screams.
"Oh my gosh thank you guys!!" There's literally room filled with presents and not that many people showed up!"
I look down to a big wet spot on the floor.
"Um.. Sarah! Dylan!"
"Oh my gosh.. Dylan come here I know you mad at Mandi but get you butt over here!"
"Sarah! You just yelled that in front of everyone"
"Oh sorry, we'll lets go we have to get to the hospital!"
"I'm scared! It's a week early! She could die!!"
