"I have questions. Number two, why would you try and play me like a fool? I should have never ever, ever trusted you."

Paisley's POV
"But you didn't want to stay. You didn't want me to know you, you didn't want to be real. You were okay with just cuddles and video games. I wanted more. But it doesn't matter what I wanted."
"Wait Paize, please--" He whimpered
"No! I won't wait, I'm tired of waiting. Everyone is saying I deserve better than this."
"You do and I'm sorry! Please Paize, I just can't stay away." Spiderman pleaded.
"You were doing plenty fine for the past week pretending that I didn't even exist."
"That's not true. I couldn't stay away."
My eyes narrowed at that sentence and my jaw dropped. "You were following me?!"
"No! I just--"
"Get out, Spiderman." I said bitterly. He couldn't just come and go as he pleases. I miss him, but he'd break my heart and leave. I don't want to feel that pain again. I spun around and took a deep breath. Then, there was silence. I waited a minute I surveyed the now empty room.
I was alone now, and free to cry to my heart's content. Seeing him was like a stab to the heart once again. I deserve better. That was the only thing that was going through my head-- Peter's words. It was just me and my sobs resonating throughout New York.

I was numb again. I thought that I would be okay now. Opening your heart to someone, but they don't trust you. It was hard. But I'm not going to dwell any longer, he took so much of my time, my emotions... I'm done.
I got up and headed to my kitchen cabinets for something to munch on, but they were almost empty. I haven't been to the store in a long while. I grabbed my wallet, changed into some sweatpants and a t-shirt, then headed out the door.
After a short trip to buy a whole bunch of junk food, I headed back to my apartment. There were police sirens going off, but I didn't pay much attention. It was New York. I stopped at the crosswalk waiting for the stoplight to turn red. The sirens started to get louder.
I looked down the street to see a tan van speeding and being followed by three police cars. Holy hell. There was a man in the passenger seat hanging half out of the window shooting a gun to the police. I took a step back in horror as I watched the chase.
As I stepped back I felt a little bump in my side, and looked down to see a little girl running across the street, oblivious to her mother screaming. She was going to get hit. I dropped my groceries and sprinted across the street, hoping to get there in time. I turned to see the truck getting closer and I shoved the girl out of the way.
