Maria, Brandon,Jake and Antonio were standing in the hallway by the lockers before class Maria was on the phone while Brandon, Jake and Antonio stood off to the side.
Jake looked at his phone in disappointment as he tried to call Monica for what feels like the hundredth time. He sighs
"Have you guys heard from Monica?" he asked Brandon and Antonio with a concerned look on his face.
Antonio shook his head
"Nope he said
"Yea I called her three times since last night but no answer. Brandon stated
Jake narrowed his eyes at Brandon about to say something when Maria jumped in
"My sister said Monica checked into the hospital late last night she told them.
"For what!?" Jake and Brandon said at the same time and then they both glanced at each other.
Maria ignored their obvious tension as Antonio held her hand to keep her calm.
'She can't say but we can go by and see her at lunch time Maria said.

'I am so disappointed in you Monica my dad said sternly
Dad... I started to say.
He shook his head
"You lied to me he said
I could see the anger and frustration in his eyes.
I looked over at my mom who was quiet the whole time she looked like she wanted to say something but she didn't.
The last day and a half has been draining even though all I did was lay in the hospital bed as doctors ran test on me and were able to stop the bleeding. While the nurses came in every hour or so to check my vitals.
Luckily Maria sister Carla was one of my nurses i told her what was going on and I told her not to tell Maria because I didn't want word to get back Jake or Brandon either. At first I wasn't going to tell my parents but then she told me that they are my emergency contacts and the hospital already notified them.
The thought of losing my babies that I didn't even know existed until I lost them was haunting my mind I couldn't stop thinking about them.
I slid my hand on the side of my bed and pressed the nurse button last thing I needed right now was a lecture from my parents.
Right on a nurse came with long blonde hair and blue scrubs came in.
She looked at my parents and then me.
"Is everything ok?" she asked.
"I'm feeling nauseous I told her.
"I'm sorry but I'm going to ask you guys to leave the room while i check her vitals." she told my parents.
My parents said nothing to me as they left the room.
I layed back as the nurse hooked up a Iv to my arm and started checking my blood pressure.
"Everything looks fine you I'll get you a Sprite to settle your stomach down". She told me.
She left the room as she went to get me one.
I layed back in my bed and stared blankly at the tv I don't know what was on but it kept my mind sidetracked from reality.
"Hey Mo I heard." a voice said.
I quickly jumped in shock as I seen Maria,Jake, Brandon and Antonio standing beside my bed.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
Jake was about to say something when Brandon jumped in
"We came by to see if your ok we were worried about you." he said looking at me with concerned eyes.
"Oh I'm fine just had a bad stomach bug I said looking away.
Maria looked at me and then the guys.
"Hey can you guys give me and Monica a moment she told them.
They took the hint and walked out of the room.
After they left Maria sat in a chair next to me and I don't know why but I started to break down crying.
Maria leaned over and hugged me
"I know Mo, I know." she whispered in my ear.
At that moment I didn't care about anything I heard about her what I knew for a fact was she was my best friend and was always there for me.
