Why did you want me?-Chapter 2

We walked to BlackStars and Tsubakis place and Soul knocked at their door.

"Knock,knock open up you two weirdos." Soul said expecting an answer. Nobody answered the door and Blackstars yelling..we didnt hear.

"Tsubaki....Blackstar....answer the door." Soul slowly opened the door by putting his scythe between the crack to try to unlock it. We heard a "click" and he turned the knob pushing it open.

"Oh....my.....God!" I bursted out as I covered my mouth with my hand seeing the place completely trashed and covered in blood. I fell to my knees bursting into tears.

Souls eyes went completely black as his smile faded away walking cautiously inside. He looked back lending me his hand. I grabbed it and pulled myself up.

I walked inside with him. "Where are they? If they died..... There would have been a soul or...a body. Did they get kidnapped. They they get dismembered?! Did they...."

Soul stopped me and looked into my eyes. "Maka,calm down. We're gonna find them. Let's look around and...find some clues or evidence that might help us,okay?"

I wiped my tears and held my head up high. "Okay then. Where do we look first?" Soul smiled at me. "Now your gettin' it. I'll check the kitchen and BlackStars room while you check Tsubakis and the living room, okay?" I nodded and started to search through the broken glass and blood. I searched through books and paper. I couldn't find a damn thing! I kept looking through everything and,nothing.

I opened Tsubaki's door seeing a messed up bed and signs of stress. I found blonde hair on the ground and I examined it thtoughly.

"Soul hey I found some e......vi......dence............" I was slowed seeing Soul carrying a note with tears in his eyes. He never crys. He's "to cool" for that. He read the note out loud me and spoke:

"Dear......Soul Eater and Maka....Maka Albarn. I have took Tsubaki Natakasaki and Black 🌟 Star and others as prisoners of Medusa. We will murder them at the strike of midnight. Hand over the S-Semi-Weapon, Maka Albarn, or they will die......"

I stood frozen in fear shaking a bit. "I-I have to go turn myself in. I cant let her kill them I-" I stopped in my tracks and looked at Soul in confusion.

"I thought....we KILLED Medusa. Maka... I dont....I think this is a set up. I WILL NOT let my Meister be sent in with an obvious trick." Soul looked at me with his ruby eyes as they quivered in fear. "I will not let that happen Maka....besides we do not know where she is if she WERE alive."

I looked at him then to the ground. "I have a pretty good idea where they are Soul....plus I have to turn myself in. If Tsubaki and BlackStar are REALLY out there in Medusa's grasp.... Ive got to save them."

Soul wouldn't have it as he grabbed onto my shoulders. "Im going with you then. Your my miester I'd be pretty uncool if I let someone kill you." My face flushed with red as he took me into a hug tightly not wanting to let go.

"Soul... come on...I think Liz,Patty, and Kid might be there too." I let go of the hug and rushed out the door. "Hahaha....lets see where this goes." "Soul smiled demonicaly. He raced behind me as I rushed out of the city to a forest.

"M-Maka slow down I cant k-keep up!" He shouted out at me. I ignored him and kept running forward a bit faster.

Soul's P.O.V

"Damn it. I can't keep up with her. She's too damn fast for me!" I thought to myself trying to keep her in my site. Not being able to keep up with her is so uncool, considering im her weapon.

Those fat ankles sure do have a kick for running. I raced through the fall leaves and crunched branches. I felt myself getting closer to her seeing Maka slow down a bit out of breath. She pointed to a bright light up ahead.

"Over there is where they would be. Im sure Medusa let that blue light as a signal for us." She was pretty and smart, despise her small breast. "Maka....are you sure you want to do this. Maka if you die you dont know what ill do." She looked at me with a serious smirk. "Don't worry... Ill stay alive...I promise."
