Peter had I have been going out for six months now. Somehow, my dad still hasn't figured it out. We've actually been pretty quiet about it. Instead of turning off my tracker every time I'm with Peter, I have it set to a different location. So if I'm at the mall, it'll say I'm at the library. It does tell him when I'm at school though.
Today is Peter an my six month anniversary. I told him to meet me at my apartment. I figured today would be the day I would tell him who I really am. I'm just hoping it doesn't ruin our relationship.
I spent all day working on dinner. I set the table and changed into a cute black dress and flats. I curled my hair and did a natural makeup look. Peter was supposed to be here at 8. It was 7:30 when he texted me.

{Peter: Hey baby. I can't make it tonight I'm sorry. My boss won't let me leave work.}

I sat there in shock.

[Me: It's alright. I'll see you later.]

I wiped away my tears as I washed off my makeup. I put all of the food in the fridge and got into some pajamas. There was no point in going back to the base. I told my dad I was spending the night at Emma's house. I grabbed the entire container of ice cream and took a seat on the couch with my hair in a bun. Then I turned on Full House. I watched until about 10 pm when I realized I should probably get to bed.
I got off the couch and began to make my way to my room.

I walked back over to the living room and saw Spider-Man. His suit was ripped up but his mask was still on. I opened the window and he fell in.
"Oh my god! Oh my god!" I panicked. "Let me get the first aid kit." I said. I ran into the bathroom and came bag with a bag full of stuff. When I reached the living room, I saw Peter. I'm the Spider-Man costume. He had scratches all along his face and a rage scar all along his stomach.

"Y-y-your Spider-Man..?"
"Yes Chloe. Can you help me?!" He said holing onto his stomach crying.
"Of course." I ran back into my room and grabbed a pair of boxer shorts for him to change into. It would be easier than trying to help him with his wounds in his suit.
I cleaned his wounds in silence. Once I was finished, I brought him over into the other bedroom.

"Do you want to talk Chloe? Because I'm so sorry for lying. I was just trying to keep you safe and-" I cut him off by crashing my lips onto his.
"It's alright Peter. And now since you've revealed your secret, it's best I reveal mine. And I think it will make sense." Peter cocked his head in confusion.
"What do you mean?" I grabbed his hands with both of mine.
"I'm not Chloe Day."
"Well than who are you? You're not one of those evil spies right?"
"No of course not Peter." I hesitated for a moment, then looked into is caramel brown eyes.
"My real name is Chloe Stark." Peter's eyes went wide.
"You're Mr. Stark's daughter?!"
"Shhh..." I said putting a hand over his mouth. "Not so loud."
"Sorry." He said laughing. "Is that why he kept telling me not to go out with you?"
"Must be." It went quiet for a moment. Peter insisted I stayed with him that night. I cuddled up next to him, with my head buried in his chest. He was playing with my hair which made me slowly fall asleep.

It was the next morning. I heard Peter in the kitchen. He was making my favorite thing of his, pancakes.
"Hey." I said sitting on the counter.
"Good morning baby." He said as he flipped the pancakes onto the plate. He turned around and pulled me off the counter as I wrapped my legs around his waist. He dropped me on the couch then ran back to the kitchen and grabbed our breakfast. I turned on our favorite show to watch together, Friends.
"Hey Chloe?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you think that maybe it's a good idea to tell your dad. I mean, now we know why he didn't want us to be together and now I think we proved him wrong." I nodded then looked up at him.
"I'll do it tonight." I assured him.

Peter and I decided to go to a nice restaurant for dinner, considering yesterday was ruined. Not that it was fault but he did say he wanted to do this because he felt bad for having to ditch our date.
All night, we talked about how we were going to tell my dad.
"How about I go with you," Peter said. "Just so I can be there for comfort. You know?"
"I don't think that's the best idea. He's going to be pretty angry and I don't want anything to happen to you."
"Then how about you text me. Let me know after." I nodded.

After dinner was over, we walked a few blocks and Happy picked me up.
"Hey Kid. How are you?"
"Good." I said. My hands were shaking. I was becoming worried.
"You don't look okay."
"It's fine. I'm just nervous. I have to tell my dad something and I'm afraid he won't be okay with it." Happy gave me a weird look through the mirror.
"Well. Whatever it is, good luck."
"Thanks."

When we got to the base, I became aware that is was pouring. I sprinted down the driveway and up to the front door.
I opened it and saw Nat.
"Hey Chloe. How was the library?" She said smiling.
"Stop it. I'm going to go and tell my dad."
"Good luck." She said giving me a pat on the back.
"Thanks." I didn't need Nat to tell me where he was. I knew he was in his workshop. I walked down one of the hallways and opened a large glass door.
"Hey Sweetheart. How was your day?"
"It was pretty good."
"Good. Hey can you hand me that screw driver? The small one." I walked across the room and brought it over.
"Thank you dear."
"Of course." I hesitated for a moment. "Hey dad?"
"Yeah?"
"There's something I want to tell you. And before I tell you, please don't be mad. It's actually a good thing." Dad stopped his work and looked up at me.

"Chloe...you're scaring me." I looked down at my feet and began mumbling.
"I'm dating Peter Parker." My dad dropped everything and began to walk over.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I'm dating Peter Parker." He put his head in his hands then spoke again. "No. You can't."
"And why not?!"
"I can't tell you."
I looked at him and shook my head. "Dad! I know he's Spider-Man!" His eyes went wide.
"You what?!"
"He came into the apartment and I helped him after one of his missions." He put his hand to his forehead in frustration.
"You didn't tell him that-"
"I was your daughter? Yeah I did." My dad grew more angry. I've never seen him this mad.

"Do you have any idea what you've done Chloe?!" He said. His tone becoming mellow yet it was still as if he were yelling.
"Yes Dad. I've made a new best friend and he is my boyfriend."
"And you put yourself at risk in doing so. It's not safe and I forbid you to see him." My jaw dropped. "You can't do that!"
"Yes I can! Now go to your room and we will discuss the rest of your punishments later." I locked eyes with him as my tears began to fall. He went back to his work grumbling as I walked out.
"How'd it go Chloe?" Nat asked.
"Not good." I cried as I walked out the door and into the pouring rain. I jumped into my car and turned off the tracker.

I drove for hours. It was midnight and still pouring. I heard my phone beep like it has been for the last hour. I looked down to see a ton of texts from Peter.

{Peter: How'd it go?}
{Peter: is he mad?}
{Peter: oh god he's going to fire me}

And that was only part of it. I was still crying.
My vision became blurry and I didn't see the stop sign I got halfway through the intersection when I saw two bright lights come from both directions. My seat belt was stuck and the pedals were jammed. To my right was a pick up truck, the other was a sports car going way too fast. My heart was beating faster. In those last moments, all I thought about was Peter.
