Interrupted.

Part 9: Batshit Crazy

As Jungkook got back into the car, his brothers all look at him waiting for him to say something.

"what? I can read Tae's mind not yours" he said looking back at his brothers.

"He's right you know. You can't avoid Myra forever, and this whole you could die thing is pretty serious. So you need to place fixing you and Tae as top priority". Hoseok said patting his younger brothers head like he use to when jungkook was little and in need of comfort.

"I know....i just don't know how to say it and not break her heart....wait. were you guys listening into our conversation up there?".

They ignored his question, but of course they did. Yoongi was the first one to hop out of the car and use his Wolf hearing.

"Jungkook I know as well as you do that you don't love her anymore. It's impossible for you too. Whatever feelings they maybe, that you think was love is gone. And I think you are beginning to realize it the more time you spend with Tae. Its part of the whole soulmate thing. Why do you think mom was able to drop the other guy so fast and married dad?"

The ride home only gave Jungkook more things to think about. And he knew he couldn't postpone it any longer, he was gonna talk to Myra that night.

When they got home he texted Myra to meet him at the park where they use to go as kids. She quickly responds yes, and agrees to be there in 5.

The park was super close to Jungkooks house, so getting there was just walking distances for him. He sat on the swing waiting for the girl who he thought was gonna be the one he was going marry eventually. Even if that was just what people around them expected them to do , nonetheless she was his best friend, his supposed  his life mate. He doesn't know how she'll take it.

"Jeon Jungkook!" he hears her calling for him in the distance. He waves at her while she runs over and rushes into his arms, and before he could say hey she kisses him hard.

The kiss felt empty to jungkook like never before. Before there was still a flicker some kind, a  flame that lit him up on the inside, that aroused him, but now?.....nothing.

She pulls away not noticing and smiles brightly at him.

"So....why did you ask me to come out here? I wasn't expecting to see you until maybe tomorrow. I mean right after you said you needed time to think?"

Jungkook clears his throat, it felt dryer by the minuet. "Yeah, but I thought about everything carefully and it just couldn't wait any longer so-

"Omg babe, I know this might kill the mood, but I love you and I love us and if you are gonna purpose to me right now, Im letting  you know this is not how I pictured it. I mean yes our child hood play pin is cute and all but-

"Myra! What are you talking about?"

"I....well. I mean at first I was worried that something was wrong between us but I mean there can't be. And then you said you needed sometime to think over something important and  recently we've been talking about marriage. I thought-

"No Myra. No. WE didn't talk about anything. YOU did. And honestly even before all this I wasn't ready. My feelings were so unsure. I felt that I love you yes, but also only felt obligated too be with you because we've been friends since forever. But God Myra, its always been you deciding things for US". Jungkook didn't know where he got the courage to say what was needed to be said, but he felt in the back of his mind that it was Tae giving him the push.

" You're being silly. No. that's not....thats not why you're with me. You're with me because you LOVE me. Right?" Myra looks more unsure by the second.
