The day I butt-dialled bars and melody

3. Basically she butt-dialled me

"Guys," I said, shaking their shoulders. "Get up!"

"Gnggghh?" said Teri sleepily.

"How very attractive. Guys, we are going to meet bars and melody!"

I had been up since seven o'clock. The concert started at twelve, and it was nine now.

"Guys," I said louder. " Get up! We have an hour to get ready and on the bus!"

Finally the others got up and dressed.

My mum drove us to the bus stop after we had breakfast, and after arriving in town, we went into a cafe and got a lemonade each..

"Oops, sorry,'" said someone, bumping into me.

I started to turn around. "Oh, that's OK..."

He was there. Actually there. Not because of my butt-dialling. Charlie Lenehan was standing in front of me.

Charlie's P.O.V

I was kinda surprised when I got that call last night. I mean, this random hyperactive girl just calls me and starts talking. She was nice to talk to though. I remember following her on instagram and her posting loads of crazy stuff about how much she loves me and Leo without realizing I might actually look at it.

And here she is, right in front of me. Naomi looks the same as she does in her random selfies, pretty much. She has dark brown wavy hair and green eyes, and her friends were there too, all looking as surprised as she was.

"Hey," I said, grinning.

"H-hi," she replied nervously.

"Are you OK?" I asked her.

"Yeah. Don't worry, I'm not gonna fangirl," Naomi smiled at me.

"Oh, um, this is Teri, Tilly, and Olivia," she said, pointing to the girls next to her.

"Hi!" one said. I hadn't caught which was which so they could just all be called TeriTillyLivi for now.

"So when are you heading down?" wondered Naomi.

"Um, now actually," I said. "Just waiting for Leo. He's in the loo."

"OK then. We're gonna go now, so good luck!" she said, and they walked out of the shop and down the street.

Naomi's P.O.V

So, that was awkward. They say never to meet your idols in case, well, I forgot the rest of that saying but it's something bad. Meeting Charlie was just as amazing as I thought it would be.

We arrived at the stadium and saw Charlie straight away. We were given our backstage passes and we wandered around while they set up on stage.

Finally they started performing and it was amazing. I hadn't quite gotten over how amazing Leo's rap was. He is so inspirational. And Charlie has a beautiful voice; I could listen to it all day. Though in fairness I probably would if he had a terrible voice.

Charlie's P.O.V

We sang a few songs then came of stage. Naomi and TeriTillyLivi were waiting for us and they congratulated us. I introduced Leo to them and he waggled his eyebrows at Naomi who luckily wasn't looking.

"You are amazing, both of you," said the freckly friend.

"Yeah," the blonde one agreed.

"Thanks," Leo said, grinning.

"Do you want to go get a hot chocolate?" I asked the girls.

"Sure," said Naomi, and we walked to the coffee shop down the road, where we sat at a table and sipped our hot chocolates.

"So how exactly did you get Charlie's number?" Leo asked Naomi.

"Well...I was in bed and I sat on my phone and it beeped so I screamed, yknow, cos a thing beeps in the middle of the night, it's freaky, OK? And then charlie was like 'hello?hello?' and I was like omg but he hung up then I called back and here we are."

"OK then..." said Leo, sounding confused.

I sighed. "Basically she butt-dialled me."

"It was funny," said the freckly friend.

"You know you've got a froth moustache right Livi?" said Naomi. The ginger girl wiped it off with a napkin and looked so embarrassed that I started laughing without thinking. Soon we were all laughing, until everyone on the other tables were staring at us. We must have looked pretty strange.

It was a great day. I guess I was kinda pleased Naomi butt-dialled me.
