20. I know it sounds clichéd

Naomi's P.O.V

Brooke had gone to bed and we were sat in a circle on the living room floor. Me, Charlie, Leo, Livi, Tilly, and Jared.

"Most embarassing moment, " Leo suggested. "Naomi, you go first."

I grin. "Ok. My most embarassing moment was spilling coke on Harry Styles' iPod."

Jared raises his eyebrows.

"Coca Cola," I add. "So basically, we had watched the concert, and they came out the performers exit, and Harry was taking photos with people on his iPod. I wanted a pic so I pushed past this girl and she pushed back, and I fell over backwards into him, spilling my coke in the process."

Leo starts laughing. "That's brilliant. When was that?"

"Ages ago," I say vaguely.

"No, actually, that was three months ago," Livi says.

"Shut up. You now. Most embarassing moment," I say to her.

Livi grins evilly. I sense what she is going to say. "Don't you even dare," I warn. She dares.

"Me and Naomi were at the swimming pool and there were these cute boys. One of them winked at us so we tried to impress them by going on the massive slide-thing." She pauses.

"And?" Charlie prompts.

"Our bikini tops fell off," she laughs. I stand up. "I hate you Olivia. You promised you wouldn't tell anyone."

"Did they notice?" Leo asks.

I hide under a blanket.

"Yes. And then they swam over and asked for our numbers," she confesses. The others all burst out laughing.

"How could you not tell me that?" Tilly laughs.

"Because this would happen," I grumble.

Charlie stands up. "I'm going to get drinks."

"I'll come," I offer, and we walk into the kitchen.

Charlie takes a bottle of coke from the fridge, and laughs.

"Did you break his iPod?" He asks, pouring drinks.

"Yes, but he laughed, and said, 'you could've just asked for a hug', and all these girls were giving me the evils," I reply.

He mutters something under his breath that I don't catch.

"Huh?" I say.

"Nothing," he mumbles, putting the glasses into a tray.

We walk back into the lounge and the others are arguing.

"Let's play spin the bottle," Tilly says.

"No," Charlie says firmly. "What if my parents come back?"

"Just a bit of harmless fun, Charlie," she tells him, smirking.

"Why don't we play hide and seek," Leo suggests.

"Fine," Tilly says.

"You're seeking, Charlie," Leo says.

"Fine. I'll count to fifty," Charlie replies, starting to count.

I run straight upstairs and hide under Charlie's bed. It is not long before I hear footsteps enter the room.

"Found you," someone whispers.

"Ok, Charlie. Have you seen any of the others?" I laugh, coming out from underneath.

"No. Naomi, I need to speak to you about something important." Charlie bites his lip.

"Yeah?" I sit down on the flloor. He walks over and sits next to me.

"I really like you, Naomi. I made a massive mistake in listening to Tilly and I wish we could start again. I know you're with Leo and all that, but I really like you."

I don't say anything.

"Just forget I said anything," he says, and puts his head in his hands.

"Charlie, I don't know what to say," I admit. "I don't wanna hurt Leo, because I love him, just, just,"

"Not in that way," he finishes softlly.

"Yeah," I look up at him through the darknes, his face illuminated my the hall light.

Charlie's P.O.V

She looks up at me with her beautiful green eyes.

"Truth is, Naomi, I'm in love with you. Maybe I'm too young to know what love is, or feels like, but it's like all I ever think about is you, and I know it sounds clichéd but I don't care. All I care about is you," I tell her.

A single tear rolls down her face. "I'm sorry," I gabble. "I didn't mean to upset you."

"You didn't, Charlie. The opposite. I heard you say it yesterday and I wanted to say it back but I couldn't because I couldn't hurt Leo like that. I can't hurt Leo like that. I'm sorry, Charlie, but I'm with Leo."

She stands up. "I'm with Leo," she repeats, and runs from the room.

I am left alone, stil shocked from my outburst, yet I know all the words I spoke were true. I need Naomi to know that they were true.

A/N Thankyou so much for 2.2k! That is madness! The story has been on here three weeks! Anyway, I am going camping until Tuesday so I will not be able to update for a few days, but I will try my hardest to get another chapter up today. Just wanted to mention Charlie's awesome quote/undying love speech. I have literally no idea where that came from but I am very proud of it.
