29. Someone's having their first teenage trantrum

Here is a giant chapter to show my appreciation:

(By the way, nearly everything the parents say in this chapter, I agree with, lol. This story is a train wreck but you guys like it and it certainly isn't boring soo :D)

Naomi's P.O.V

"Tilly, Teri and Livi were round," I begin.

"We were in bed, and I sat on my phone, and accidentally called Charlie."

"So...I'm confused," Mum says.

"I sat on my phone, and I accidentally dialled a number, which was Charlie's. He hung up before we could say anything, and then I called back."

"Why did you call back?" Mum asks.

"Because I recognised his voice from the interviews I watched and stuff. I called back, and he recognized...I don't know, my Naomi-ness, because he and Leo follow me on instagram and Twitter."

Mum frowns.

"Anything sounds stalker-ish when you say it like that!" Charlie protests

"So then, he invited us to their concert, we saw them there, they came round my house,-"

"What?" Karen says. "When?"

"Yeah...I don't remeber that happening either," Victoria adds. "Care to explain, boys?"

"Um..we might possibly of told you that we were with Overload..." Charlie admits.

"I assumed they had permission," my Mum says. "Anyway, I told Naomi that the boys had to go in with Alex."

Me, Charlie and Leo look at our feet.

"Oh dear. That's more lies," Mum sighs. She doesn't sound angry, just ashamed, and somehow that is worse.

"This is where it gets embarrassing," Charlie mutters.

"Um so Charlie kissed Teri and I got upset and Teri left and I kissed Charlie and Leo got upset and Leo left."

Me and Charlie accidentally make eye contact which intensifies the awkwardness.

"Oh?" Mum says, making a mum face at me. Come on, you've all seen them.

"Then...we went to a party at Tilly's," I continue.

"Who's Tilly?" Victoria asks. "And what party?"

"We might, possibly, of said that we were with Overload, again," Leo says sheepishly.

"Oh," Karen comments, unamused.

"Then...Leo kissed Naomi and Charlie kissed Livi and Charlie and Leo started fighting and Charlie got upset and I ran off and Leo followed me and Leo kissed me."

I act like I'm reading a story aloud. I kind of am, accept it's true. It seems to get more cringe-worthy every time I relive the embarrassment. I shut my eyes, and here a loud crunching. I open my eyes, and see Joey sat across the room eating popcorn.

"Keep going," he urges.

"Joseph, out," Victoria instructs, and he reluctantly leaves the room.

"Then...um. Charlie got a new girlfriend. Lily. Then, I was walking down by the pier, and I saw Charlie and Teri, and Teri tripped, fell into the sea, we went to hospital, I stayed the night at Charlie's-"
