Never Thought Like That

Natalie's POV

I heard a knock on my door. I was working on the laptop. My presentation wasn't still ready. I was working on it. I have my deadline tonight. I can't waste my time. It's important.

" Can I come in?" I heard my twin. I smiled.

" You can. Come in." She took a glance from the door and looked around found me working.

" You are busy." She said.

" No, come inside." I said and she entered with two cups of coffee. She and her obsession with coffee.

" I made you a cappuccino." She said and pouted. I smiled patting her cheek.

" Thanks, Nate." I said.

" Did I disturb you?" She asked handing me a cup taking the other.

" No, not at all." I said.

Nate, she never disturbs me. She always makes me happy with her presence. Whenever she starts to talk she talks something innocent which always makes me smile. I can be real me with her. I never have been the rude and arrogant Natalie with her. I am just her twin with her, the twin who loves her endlessly with all her heart. She with her own colorful words makes my world colorful and fill it with happiness.

" Yes, you did." I joked. She looked at me and pouted.

" I am sorry. I will leave. You do your works." She said and was about to leave but I hold her hand to stop her. She looked at me. I smiled.

" I was joking, Nate. You know you can never ever disturb me. Your presence makes me more comfortable." I said.

" But didn't say that." She said and I sighed.

" Forget about what I said." I said and she nodded. I took a sip of the coffee. It was excellent. I took another sip.

" Is it good?" She asked me.

" It's excellent." I said and a beautiful smile appeared on her face.

" I knew you will love it." She said.

" Where is Noel? You should give him one too." I said.

" I already gave him one. He is studying. Tomorrow is his exam." She informed me.

" Oh, ok then. What about mom and Dad?" I asked.

" Mom and Dad already slept." She said sipping her coffee.

" Why didn't you sleep?" I asked her.

" I can't sleep. Something is really bothering me." She said.

" You can tell me, you know?" I said and waited for her to continue. She just nodded.

" Can I sleep here tonight?" She asked.

" Sure." I said and she smiled widely. She gathered things aside and sat beside me settling herself under the duvet. I smiled.

" What were you thinking earlier?" I asked my twin.

" I ... Umm... Nothing." She said shaking her head. She sipped her coffee to finish it. As she finished the coffee I took the cup and put it on the table. She was looking outside. I smiled.

" Do you want to tell me anything, princess?" I asked her she nodded her head.

" Yeah, tell me." I said looking at her.

" Umm, what do you think about Leonardo Franquez?" She asked.

" Me?!! What will I think about him? He is your favorite actor. You should think about him not me." I said laughing hard. She glared at me cutely.

" I am serious." Natasha said.

" Ok, what do you exactly want to say?" I asked her. She sighed.

" Chris told me something which is bothering me." I said.

" What did that stupid say now?" I asked.

" No, cursing each other. What kind of friends are you both!!!" She asked totally pissed but still looking so cute.

" Ok, calm down, princess. Tell me what did he say?" I asked her.

" He said Leonardo is going to be a storm in your life." She said and I laughed. What rubbish is he saying!!!

" Bogus." I said laughing.

" No, he said seriously." She said.

" Ok. But why did he say that!!!" I asked her.

" I asked him. He said guy's instinct." She said.

" His instinct is wrong this time." I said taking my laptop. I need to finish my work.

" But what about Leonardo? Do you like him? He was talking to friendly with you. And he was looking at you continuously with out blinking." She said.

" What!!!" I laughed. " No, I don't like him. But he is a nice guy, easy going and friendly. And who told you that he was looking at me continuously?" I asked.

" I saw him doing that. If you don't trust me ask Chris, he was with me." I said.

" I don't need to. He was just giving some attention when I was talking. It calls politeness, Nate." I said thinking about Leonardo.

He is a gentleman but at the same time acts like a weird person. Most significant thing about him is is smile that never left his face. I think that's the thing to attract people towards him. He got it right. That smile suits him good.

" But it was something intense in his eyes." She said.

" How do you know?" I asked.

" Cause, he was looking at you the same way Chris looks at me." She said innocently.

" Nate, there is nothing like that. He is just trying to make a friendship with me cause the deal we have between us is very important. We need to trust each other and have a good understanding between us otherwise it won't work." I said to her smilingly. But she shook her head.

" No, Natty. It's nothing about business thing. You don't even have a idea what is it. You will find it out soon. You will know soon. It's not just your business deal. It's something else which you need to experience. You are not acknowledging it cause you don't have a idea about it. You will know it. You will." She told me seriously looking into my eyes. Her eyes were shining like pure emerland jewels saying that she is damn serious right now.

" Umm, alright. I will think about it. I will try my best to figure it out." I said and she nodded.

" You sleep, I have some works to finish." I said and she lay down beside me kissing my cheeks. Soon she slept and I adjusted the duvet on her. I walked out to the balcony. I was thinking about what Natasha just said. She got me good. What just caught her up!!!

What's about Leonardo!!! What does he want actually!!! I never thought like that. I don't want to. If he is trying to reach me, he is trying in vain. He can't do that cause I don't want him to do that.
