Natalie's POV

" What's wrong with you, Natty?" Nate asked me.

" I just want to be alone for a while. You can stay with me but I don't want to face  anyone now." I said and she sighed.

" I think you really want to be alone." She said. " I will leave you alone. Call me if you need anything, ok?" She asked me and I gave her a thumbs up.

" I just wanted to spend some time with you. It's my wedding in a week." She said and I sighed.

" I promise from tomorrow I will be all yours." I said kissing her forehead.

" You will keep this promise, right?" She asked.

" Sure, princess. You can trust me." I said.

" I do." She said.

" Well, what are you going to do today?" I asked her.

" Going out with the girls then going to check up Glinda." She said.

" When is her due date?" I asked.

" In 3 weeks." She said and I smiled. Can't wait to see the babies. Yes, there are twins. Ahhh, I love twins.

" We need to search names for the twins." I said.

" Yeah, let's do it. I am excited." Nate said.

" Me too." I said.

" I just can't wait anymore." She said.

" You have to wait 3 weeks." I said and she pouted.

" Yeah, sadly." She said.

" Don't put it like that they are eventually coming soon." I said.

" We are also ready to welcome them." She squealed.

" Yeah, we are." I said. She sat beside me and hold my hands. I looked up at her.

" What happened, Nate?" I asked her.

" Shouldn't I ask that to you?" She asked me.

" Well, nothing happened." I said.

" Then why did you broke up with Leo?" She asked me and I sighed.

" We had a terrible fight." I said and she sighed.

" You had a terrible fight but that doesn't mean you have to broke up. Everyone fight with each other in relationship doesn't matter you have to break up. Things can be solved by talking too." She said and I sighed.

" I don't think we were meant to be together." I said.

" Don't say things like that." She said and I sighed. " Why did you guys fight?" She asked me.

" Several reasons. You can say a combo pack fight." I said and chuckled.

" Are you alright?" She asked and I felt guilty acting like that when she is too worried about me.

" I am absolutely fine, Nate. May be I talk to him later but not now. I need some time to think about everything. I am busy to planning your wedding and welcoming Glinda's twins. So I am kind of not thinking about him right now." I lied confidently to my twin. Fu*k my bloody bi*chy mind. I never ever wanted to lie to her. Leo said he will make it up. He he doesn't then he is gone.

" That's too long." She said.

" Yes, I said I need time. Don't worry." I said.

" But what if he is already with someone in that time?" She asked and her question was valid. I would have the same question running in my mind if this was real thing.

" Then we might not meant to be together." I told her and her eyes widened.

" Don't talk like that." She said. I sighed. " Take rest. I will go downstairs and talk with all." She said.

" Tell them that I am going to join later." I said and she nodded. She went out after closing the door behind her. I sighed. I am sorry Nate. Sorry for lying to you.

Suddenly, my phone rang. I found it Rick.

" Hello, Rick? Anything happened by now?" I asked him as I picked up the call.

" Ma'am, a bit confused." He said and I narrowed my eyes.

" What?" I asked.

" Ma'am, I thought the girl is Elliott Pallette's mistress but it's Sam who entered the girl's house." He said. I felt disgusting.

" Do you think they have already any hints of you all hiding around?" I asked.

" Ma'am, I don't think so. There is no men of Pallette around inside our radar." He said.

" Is police around?" I asked him to make things confirm.

" Yes, they are not range and many of them are in disguise with our men." He said.

" Perfect. I need 20 minutes to reach there. Just handle things by then." I said.

" Sure, ma'am." He said and I cut the call.

I took my phone and hide my gun behind me. I was about to open the door but I thought for a while. There are so many people downstairs. My parents, grandparents, Uncles, Aunties, siblings, cousins and the kids. It will be hard to go out through them. May be I can handle everyone but can't handle the kids if they starts to whine. I closed the door and locked it from inside so that no one can open it. I reached the balcony and thought for a while. I looked at Nate's balcony which was adjusted with mine just a few meters away. I crossed my heart and stepped out of the railing of my balcony slowly advancing towards Nate's. I suddenly slipped my feet but hold the railing tightly and stood up again. I reached Nate's balcony in a few minutes. I entered her room and locked the balcony behind. I slowly walked out of her room and I walked towards the rooftop. Once I reached the rooftop I found out the pipelines by which I can slip down the ground and walk out of the house without anyone knowing. I again crossed my mind and just slipped down to the ground. I was about to slip several times but somehow managed it. I quickly got out of the house and took a taxi to get there. I jumped down after paying as soon as I reached there. I called Rick and saw him waving at me. I walked towards him.

" Is he still in?" I asked him.

" Yes, didn't came out." He said.

" We should go inside and attack him." I said.

" You should do nothing." Suddenly I heard Leo and turned back. I glared at him.

" You Rick, go take her to her home and don't let her slip before that." He said and I kept glaring at him.

" If you follow his order you are fired, Rick." I said. What's wrong with him!!!

" If you don't follow my order then you will see the hell. Go." Leo said very very coldly that made me flinch. " Go." He ordered.

" I will see you later." I said and he pushed me inside the car and leaned over me.

" Sam has kept the girl as hostage inside and situation can be turn worst. I told your men to leave and my men will take place of them. It's my case I don't want it includes you. So, please go home." He said kissing on my forehead. " Stay safe and don't do the things like you did today." He said and I sighed. He knows how I came out of the house.

" What about Sam?" I asked.

" He will be captured anyhow today. By hook or by crook." He assured me.
