His Birthday

Natalie's POV

" When is the birthday?" Nate asked me.

" Next week." I said.

" Great then we have enough time to arrange the party for the birthday." She squealed.

" Yeah, but keep it for surprise." I said.

" Yes, I will. No worries." She said. I nodded.

" What do you want to do?" She asked me.

" Something different." I said.

" Ok, leave it on Nate." She said smilingly.

" What will you do?" I asked her.

" I will talk with Christian. Don't worry, he will give me some ideas." She said. I sighed.

" I talked about you. About what you think" I said to her.

" Yes, it's me." She said.

" But you are going to ask Christian." I said.

" Yes, it's no difference asking him or thinking myself. He said what he has is mine. So, his ideas can be mine too." She said and I face palmed.

" Can't you think yourself?" I asked.

" No, I have exams next week." She said pouting. " So, I will tell Chris to think in the behalf of me." She said pouting cutely. I looked at her totally helplessly. I shook my head.

" Ok, then. Tell him. But if he revealed this to Leo, I will bury him under 60 feet of ground." I said.

" Relax, Natty. He won't." She said.

" Hmm, better." I said.

" What are you going to give him as a gift?" She asked.

" Haven't think about it yet." I said.

" I have an idea but I don't know if you like it or not." She said.

" Spill it." I said.

" Tell him 'I love you' in a unique way or you can write him a letter." She said.

" I have never said 'I love you' to him." I said to her and her eyes widened.

" What!!!" She asked.

" Yes, I never said that." I said.

" Really?" She asked and I nodded. She sighed.

" Why didn't you say that?" She asked me looking at me weirdly.

" I don't know." I said honestly.

" Are you serious!!!" She looked at me.

" Yes." I said. She sighed.

" You can write a letter to him." She said and I rolled my eyes.

" Now what's with a letter!!! Nate, we are not in 1960." I said. She pouted.

" It's a good idea." She said.

" I don't like the idea." I said.

" Why so?" She asked.

" It's 1960s thing." I said and she glared at me.

" It is but it's never going to be old fashioned." She said.

" It is." I said.

" Ok, if you say so. But it will never ever get old. It's like a thing which will never change. It will still have an effect. You won't be able to renew it. It will always stay like this." She said.

" If you say so. But I don't think so. But I have got an idea." I said to her.

" What's that?" She asked.

" It's secret." I said and she narrowed her eyes at me. I smiled.

" Are you going to University now?" She asked me.

" Yes, going to grab a book. It's not here in our study. So, I have to buy it or collect it from library." I said.

" Oh, ok. I have a plan to sleep whole day today." She said.

" Why? Where is Christian? Go out with him and enjoy." She said.

" He is busy today. A lot of works." She said.

" Oh, I see. I called him this morning for a file he didn't pick up so I messaged him. If he calls you tell him I have Fernando's file and he no need to work on it. I got it." I said.

" Ok, will tell him. Anything else?" She asked.

" Tell Noel to come office and I don't want him be late." I said.

" Don't be hard on him. He is just a kid." She said.

" Come again!!! Kid!!! He is just 3 years younger than you. Not a kid anymore." I said rolling my eyes.

" Don't roll your eyes." She said and started to laugh.

" They might stuck in a awkward position." I said. " I am gonna grab Chris and ask him how can eyes stuck in a awkward position!!! Is he insane!!" I said and she laughed. I sighed deeply.

" Ok, I am going. Take care. If you need anything just call Sabrina she is in city or call me. I will love to accompany you sleeping." I said winking at her. She laughed. I kissed her forehead.

" Bye. Drive safely." She said.

" I will. No worries." I said. I came out of the room and closed the door behind. I came out and took my keys.

" Julie!!" I called her.

" Yes, ma'am." She said.

" Look after Nate. If she needs anything. And tell Mom that I can be a bit late." I said and she nodded.

" Ok. Anything else?" She asked.

" No, it's ok." I said and took my jacket then came out of the house. I entered the parking lot. I got in my car and put on the seatbelt. Suddenly my phone started to ring. I took my phone and it was Leo. I took the the call.

" Hello!" I said.

" Hello, Babe." He said. " Where are you?" He asked me.

" I am going to University." I said.

" Why so? Have classes today?" He asked.

" What's in your mind?!! Have any plans for today?" I asked him.

" Wanna go on a date?" He asked me. I smiled.

" Sure. Where are you going to take me?" I asked him. " Tell me." I said.

" Nah, babe. It's secret." He said.

" No, secret. Tell me now. Otherwise I won't go with you." I said.

" Going to kidnap you. Go to University I will meet you there." He said.

" What kind of kindnapping is that?" I asked.

" Why babe? What's wrong?" She asked me.

" You are kidnapping me with warning??" I asked him.

" Babe, just come. You will see what kind of kindnapping it is." He said. " Bye. Come soon." He said and I laughed. Then hung up. I speeded up and suddenly I found a car following me. I at first thought it's Leo. But when I reached University he was already waiting for me. I was confused. But I let it slip. I need make a plan for his birthday which is important.
