Permission

Leonardo's POV

" Are you seriously going to ask Ryan for this?" My mom asked me. I sighed.

" Today or tomorrow I will have ask him for that so why not today?" I asked my mom though I  was damn nervous. She nodded weakly.

" I won't be surprised if you come back with bruises all over your body." My dad said only to crash my confidence level.

" Dad!!! Please if you can't encourage me don't discourage too. I am damn nervous." I said and he laughed. I sighed.

" Since I know Ryan, he is a hell angry guy and you will never know his tricks." Dad said.

" You think he will beat me up?" I asked and he shrugged.

" Dad!!!" I sighed." He won't." I tried to sound firm. But deep down I was nervous as hell.

I don't know how to explain this situation. I asked Christian to accompany me but I really don't want him to come for his help I just like the way he encourage. Though he mocks all the time but it's ok for some time. But if I go alone then I will be freaking out. At least I want him to accompany me the Axton office building.

" What happened?" My grandma asked.

" Good morning, Babe." I said to her and kissed her cheeks.

" Good morning, Sweetheart. Where are you going?" She asked me.

" Going to ask permission from Natalie's dad. He damn hell nervous." My dad said. I rolled my eyes.

" Why are you nervous, sweetheart?" Grandma asked me.

" I don't know. I just feeling that he won't approve me." I said.

" Why won't he approve you? Is there any reason for him not to like you?" She asked me. I thought for a while then shook my head.

" That's like my boy. There is no reason that he will dislike you. Then why will he not approve you?" Grandma asked.

" I think he will." I said smilingly.

" He will. He won't get a guy like you for his daughter. So, don't worry. He will approve you." She said and I nodded.

" I think your grandma is right." Mom said smilingly.

" I was just teasing you. You got convinced, Leo." Dad said and I sighed.

" You didn't look like you were teasing me." I said to him.

" Alright. You should get going now." Mom said. I kissed her cheeks and hugged my grandma. She patted my back.

" All the best." My dad said. I was about to say thank you but he said, " I hope you won't get bruises at the end of the day." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" I won't, don't worry." I said and at the same time my phone started to ring. I saw it was Christian.

" Where are you?" I asked him.

" In front of your house. Come down fast." He said and hung up. I came out quickly and found his car is already there. He was waiting for me. I walked towards the car and got in. He started the car.

" Nervous?" He asked me.

" What do you think?" I asked him rolling eyes.

" Don't roll your eyes too much it will stuck in a uneasy position." He said and I was about to roll my eyes again but I stopped in the way. I sighed.

" You are acting like you are going to fight a war." He said.

" Not less than that." I said.

" Of course, it's not that hard as well." He said.

" You can say that cause you have already passed the test. I am going to appear in the test now. I have to be worried." I said.

" If only your worries could help you!!!" He said. I sighed. We reached the Axton's office and he parked the car in the parking lot. I followed him. We entered the lift and people started to recognize me. I sighed. Christian was wearing a straight face. Not giving a damn what is around him. I tried to forget everything. Only focused on what I was going to do.

" Why are you so tensed, Leo? You are not weak. You are strong and confident. You can do it."  I encouraged myself. I can do it. The lift stopped at 38th floor. We got down. Christian stopped in front of a door.

" This is Natalie's cabin, wanna meet her?" He asked but I shook my head.

" I will meet her later." I said and he nodded gesturing me to follow her. He stopped in front of the door and gestured me the name on the door.

I took a deep breath. I gestured him to go. He nodded.

" I am in Natalie's cabin. Meet us when you are done." He said.

" I will. " I said nodding my head. He left me there. I knocked on the door.

" Come in." I heard Mr. Axton saying. I slowly entered the room. Found Mrs. Axton was showing a presentation to Mr. Axton. They saw me and got a bit shocked.

" Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Axton." I said stepping ahead.

" Good morning, young man." Mr. Axton said and looked at his wife confusedly. She shook her head.

" Have a seat, Leonardo." Mrs. Axton said smilingly. Natalie resembles her mom a lot. Just their eyes are not same. She got emerland eyes when her mom has bright blue. I took a seat.

" Suddenly what pulled you here?" Mr. Axton asked me.

" I have something important to tell you." I said.

" About what?" Mrs. Axton said. I took a deep breath.

" About Natalie and me." I said in a breath.

" What about you two?" She asked me.

" Don't tell me you guys are dating and want to get married soon. Cause I am not going to get her married any soon." Mr. Axton said.

" I afraid that I was going to tell that." I said and sighed.

" I don't want to approve you now." He said.

" Ryan!!! Don't act like a kid." Mrs. Axton said and Mr. Axton look at her with a emotional expression.

" Don't give me this face. It won't work." Mrs. Axton said. Then turned to me. " How long are you both dating for?" She asked smilingly.

" Actually, we didn't start to date yet. I thought to take your permission first. After all she loves you all at first." I said. She smiled.

" Alright. I like you and trust you with my daughter." Mrs. Axton said and turned to Mr. Axton.

" I don't want to approve you." He said and sighed. " But I think for my daughter I will." He said making me shocked.

" You will?" I asked shockingly.

" Yeah, but mark my words if you try to hurt my princess I will forget that you are son of one of my closest friends." He gritted.

" I promise all my heart I won't hurt her ever." I said as I got the permission to date her. " Thank you for trusting me." I said smilingly.
