Leonardo's POV

" So? How was work today?" Christian asked smirking at me. I rolled my eyes.

" Why bother to ask when you already know it's hell!!" I said.

" Don't roll your eyes they might stuck in awkward position." He said and laughed.

" How can eyes get stuck in a awkward position?" I asked him. He shrugged.

" Then why do you say that?" He asked.

" I don't know." He said and I sighed.

" We are awkwardly stupid." I said.

" Who said you all to make it a national anthem? I said it randomly." He said. I sighed.

" Next time don't say anything randomly." I said and he laughed.

" You guys get over excited. What can I do in it?" He said and I sighed.

" You no need to do something. Next time I won't repeat your words." I said and he laughed.

" Better. Let's come to the point." He said.

" Before that let's order first I am hungry." I said and he agreed.

" Yeah. Now tell me clearly what do you want to know?" I asked him once we were done ordering our meal.

" What is with Pallette?" He asked.

" Nothing with him. In fact soon Pallette will be out of the plot." I said.

" Come to the point. I want you to explain everything from the start it's quite confusing." He said.

" Ok, I will." I said. " It was about 1 year back when my Dad went to Japan for a business deal. That time he met his college fellow Elliott Pallette long time back. Then he told my dad about a deal. My dad found it profitable so he agreed. Basically, his deal was to destroy Axton and Knight." I said.

" So, you agreed to do so?" He asked me.

" Appearently yes, cause he never explained this completely to my dad. We only found it out in the auction of the Cornor's house." I said.

" That bloody Busta*rd tried to make us fool." He said.

" He was only making higher bid so that you guys buy that house in 10 million which apparently values only 1." I said. " But lucky you that you didn't buy it. Palmer bought it." I said to him.

" When I saw Natalie stopped bidding on the house, I got the trick at once." He said.

" Did you know Pallette that time?" I asked.

" No, my dad told me later." He said.

" Hmm, better then." I said." Axton and Knight already knew why Pallette was there again. So, they took a safe way to dismiss him but it didn't work."

" Cause, they had you behind them." He said.

" True." I said.

" You shouldn't help them." He said.

" We didn't know anything, Chris. You can't hold it against us." I said.

" I can understand." He said.

" Apparently, Natasha was the reason Pallette couldn't make Axton and Knight fight again. Cause, they believed that they won't fight or betray each other at least for their children." I said." So, you were with her made situation hard for Pallette to make Axton and Knight rival again. They tried to trick them again but everything failed cause they already knew his stupid planning. Sam tried to reach Natasha which didn't work cause may be God  wanted save that innocent soul already from a monster like Sam that she met you before him. So their plan didn't work. You have to thank Natasha for being so lucky for you." I said.

" She always proved herself as my luck cause she gave me all her luck. Even she saved my life giving me all her luck. I might have never believed in fate or luck but now I do." He said.

" She saved your life?" I asked and he nodded.

" Well how?" I asked as I was quite curious. He took out a watch from his pocket.

" Giving me this." He said looking at the watch with loving eyes.

" I didn't get it." I said.

Then he explained how he was saved from the plane crush by missing the flight for getting this watch which he left in the hotel suite.

" If this is not called luck then I really don't know which is called luck." He said and I agree. This was really luck and it proved lucky for him.

" I agree. It is." I said.

" Now tell me what have you decided. To help Pallette? Or step back? Cause if you help them then I won't be a bit kind to you in this game even if you are my friend and I am quite sure that Natalie will do the same." He said seriously.

" Doing none of them" I said.

" How clever!!!" He mocked. " What are you going to do now?" He asked me.

" Can you add a bit sugar in your voice? It's too bitter to hear." I said.

" Better you deserve it." He said.

" Listen to me first then react." I said seriously.

" Go ahead." He said.

" Going to sue Pallette and after that there will be no Pallette. Cause if they lost the case he will go bankrupt." I said.

" Not so easy, Leo. You're playing a dangerous game that too alone." He said.

" If I were the Leo before I met Natalie then I would have agreed with you but one thing I learned from her it's your mind which plays with you. If you think it's dangerous then it will be difficult for you and if you don't think it's difficult it won't be difficult." I said.

" I sometimes don't agree with this cause this time you are really playing with danger." He said.

" May be but I won't step back now. Besides, Pallette will certainly lose the case." I said.

" Well how?" He asked.

" Cause, we have all proofs against them. It will prove their works and they will be behind the bars soon." I said.

" Don't be in the cloud. This time you shouldn't trust anyone with the documents and proofs. It's better if you have it's copy too. Cause, money can buy everything even people too. Be careful." He said. He gave me a good hint. I should have thought about it before. Shit!!!

" Well. I will take that advice." I said.

" Now, let's have meal. I am dying as well." He said and I chuckled. I was happy that I explained everything in this conversation before everything got messed.
