My name is Corin I live in NYC and have rode the subway alone since I was 11 I am now 17. One night last year in the winter there was a full moon and I was running late to get home because I had alot of studying to do. When I got on the subway I was cold and damp because there was a misty rain outside. This made me drowsy and I soon fell asleep missing my exit I remember smelling a burning scent but instead of feeling heat i felt a deep chill all through my body. When I opened my eyes and looked at my cell phone it was blank and i couldn't turn it on. Maybe its the tunnels I looked at my watch it was 3:01am exactly the funny smell was in the air and I was the only one in the subway car but I saw wet foot prints leading to my seat. AS we were coming out of the one tunnel about to enter the next the moonlight lit up the car with a pale eeriness and the smell got so strong it was choking me I got up and turned around as i was walking to the door and saw someone staring at me with pale grey eyes and their skin looked as if it was peeling off just then we were back in a tunnel and the figure disappeared.I didnt want to tell anyone of this because I knew they wouldnt believe me but i told my best friend david he sometimes rides the subway with me and said he has smelled that wierd smell as well but never saw anyone. Well one day while I was in connecticut visiting my nana David had to get his wisdom teeth pulled he has a single mom like me and she couldnt come get him from the dentist so he took the subway a friend of ours who asked not to be named was also riding with david and said he was extremely tired from the pain medicine he had been given she wanted to ride the whole way with him to make sure he was safe but needed to get home to tend to her baby sister. well david no doubt fell asleep and no one knows what happened to him but when he finnally was found 42 hours later(in a subway tunnel) he was terrified and didnt want to be touched he just kept mumbling the grey eyes..his watch was stopped on 3:01 and to this day he is still in a mental institution and will not see anyone. Needless to say i wont ride the subway at night but if i do i stay awake!
