What Did I Do Wrong?

I was home alone when I heard a knock on the door. I ignored it and the person kept knocking for over an hour. I was alone and pissed but I never answered the door. So, I called my mom to tell her. She said to look through the peep hole to see who it was. They must have heard me coming because when I went up to look through he smiled and said, " Hello Beautiful!" I was freaked and called the police. They answered, :911 what's your emergency?" I said," Some guy won't leave me alone and is at my house." The woman said." I'll send a police officer over right away." Five minutes later the police came. They knocked on the door and asked what the problem was. I said," A guy was at my front door and knew who I was, but I didn't know him. I saw him at my school earlier too." The officer said," We'll have a police officer stay parked in front of your building to watch for awhile." I told him,' If he has a black coat on then it's him." He walked away slowly and I shut the door behind me.

About 10 minutes later I heard a knock at the door. It was him," He said It's me beautiful!" I thought the police officer should be coming soon. But, after half an hour I gave up all hope. The officer never showed. The man kept saying," Oh come on just open the door beautiful," I was so freaked, I opened my bedroom window and ran to the neighbors down the road.

I told them what happened. They called the police and the police went to catch the stranger at my house. They found a dead cop in his car with a knife in his heart. Then they saw the man in the black coat and arrested him for stalking and attempted murder. When they checked through his coat, they found a piece of lined paper with different possibilities for killing me. My name and address was on the paper too. I thought how could a creep like that find and choose me? What did I do wrong?

When I was at the police station they brought him in and asked me to identify him. He saw me and told me one thing that's haunted me since that day,"Don't worry beautiful I'll be back and so will my other friends." I don't know what that means, but I am freakin freaked out.
