Warning: Becknessa Fluff!!!

//Beckett//

I slowly make my way to the dance studios, purposely taking the long route through the music hall to lengthen my walk. I'd been doing this a lot lately as I've recently been doing my best to avoid Vanessa. I'm about to turn the corner when I hear her. Vanessa. I sneak a look around the corner, and standing next to her, of coarse, is Miles. My chest clenches just at the sight of them. Vanessa meant the world to me, and Miles took it away from me in a matter of days. I'm about to turn back to retrace my steps when Vanessa's voice stops me.
"Not to mention that at the time you two broke up, I had a boyfriend, who I might add, I still like. I know it's hard to think of the people outside of your program, but this whole thing has effected the dancers too." She snaps at Alya and Bianca. Atta' girl I think silently. Wait. She said she had a boyfriend at the time. That she still likes. Wait. I think back through all our conversations in a panic before deciding that she has to be talking about me. Shit. I royally screwed up, and now I might have lost the only good part of coming to Keaton. I'm pulled from my thoughts when Vanessa begins walking away, coming around the corner. Before I can think it through, I reach out and grab her arm, spinning her gracefully into me.
"Vanessa-"
You heard that conversation, didn't you?" she interrupts. I nod my head and she sighs.
"Vanessa, I'm sorry I didn't believe you, whatever it takes, I'll make it up to you. I promise. I'm sorry," I tell her, pulling her closer, and searching her face for any sign of hope. My chest clenches again when Vanessa doesn't reply, looking down at the floor.
"Vanessa, please, don't leave me. I'm so, sorry I didn't believe you. I'm sorry. Please don't go. Don't leave me," I practically beg her. I catch a tear escape from her eyes before she throws her arms around me. I slip my arms around her as well and let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
"I missed you. So much," she says, muffled as she presses herself against me in a warm embrace. Our hands immediately intertwine in muscle memory as we begin walking back down the hallway to the dance studio. The walk is comfortably silent as V walks uncommonly close to me, shaking when she strays off too far. When we reach the studio, we push the heavy doors open together, only to be met with a large crowd of our classmates, waiting for us at the door.
"Beckett and Vanessa, sittin' in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g, first comes love, then come marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage," the students chant loudly as we walk through the crowd. Even Carly, Sasha, Jenna, and Mindy join in. V blushes madly, and her face flushes a cute shade of pink. When we finally make it through all the students, I'm absolutely shocked to see none other than, my mom, Ms. Helsweel, standing at the end with her phone in hand, recording the whole thing.
"C! Did you organize this? How did you even know?" V exclaims to her best friend. C just grins mischievously and gestures to Helsweel.
"Mom!" I exclaim as she sets her phone down innocently.
"Just so we're clear. If Miss Morita is unable to dance because you impregnate her before high school ends, I don't care if you're my son or not, I will castrate you," she tells me, completely serious. V and I are now both bright red as my mother and the rest of the dancers proceed as if nothing happened.
"That'll teach them to come to their mother's class late," my mom mutters under her breath.
"Get to work!" She tells, clapping her hands. I glance at V at my mom's use of the words 'their mother's' and she only blushes harder.
"C'mon. We actually need to prep for the IMADs," V demands, dragging me over to the bar.
