I woke up hours later to see that Jay was gone and Davieon and Cassandra was here supposedly baby sitting me.

"Davieon did your father say where he was going?" I asked as I tried his phone for the tenth time.

"Naw'll and stop calling him for he thinks something is wrong."

"You don't understand. I need to talk to him." I said as I started crying.

"Kylah you have to calm down before you upset my baby sister or brother." Davieon said as he threw his arms around me.

"I'm so tired of everybody babying me like if I sneeze or move a certain way this little baby is going to fall out. I am alright. Shit." I said as I snatched away from him and headed to my room.
"Well you don't have to snap at me I didn't do shit to you, Angry ass woman."

I turned around getting ready to give Davieon a piece of my mind when Cassandra stopped me.

"Look Kylah Daveion is just concerned, we all want a healthy baby and if you get upset or worry the baby can feel it too and we don't want anything to happen to her."

"It's a boy damnit." I snapped at her and stormed off.

I went and lay back down in the bed just thinking about the events that took place earlier today. I knew that my man was a Street nigga but I didn't know to what caliber. I knew that he and Blinky ran the organization but I had never really been around the shit other than doing the little money transfers he had me doing. I was worried sick about him. Just knowing that somebody personally wanted to hurt me or him really had me thrown for a loop. I tried to busy myself by watching a movie but every minute I found myself checking my phone worried about him. Throughout the night San and Daveion would peek their heads in and check on me but I would just snap at them and after a while they quit fucking with me.

The next morning I woke up feeling really sick and so I decided to just stay in bed. That afternoon Davieon had come to check on me and said that I was burning up and so he called some private nurse to come and check me out.

She said that I was running a slight fever and my blood pressure was up really high. Daveion wanted to take me to the hospital but I decided against it and just stayed in the bed. I knew that if I continued to feel this way then I would have to go but all I wanted was to hear from Jay telling me he was alright.

"Have you heard anything from your dad?" I asked Davieon as he peaked his head in the room.

"Naw'll but he's okay. I know my pop. If anything happened I would hear about it by now."
"Okay but I'm so worried about him."

"He is just fine. I'm a little lonely can I come and catch a movie with you?"

"Yeah come and find something on TV. And if you're so bored why don't you invite your little boo over."
"Dad really don't like her and he don't want her over here."
"The one that you brought to the dinner?"

"Yeah we been together for years but pops thinks she aint right for me."
"So that explains him turning up his nose at her."
"Yeah but he can't do nothing but be happy for me."
"Well why don't you go and see her."
"I can't leave you in this big ass house alone and you're not feeling well."

"I'm fine, it's just a little fever."

"No it's more than a little fever. You're making yourself sick worrying about my pop."
"He needs to be here with me."
"But you understand the life he lives and you know that he has to be out there."
"Yeah I know. I just wish I didn't worry so much."

"I used to be the same way when pop would just run off but Cassandra would be here with me and reassure me that he would come back for me and he always have."

"Thanks Davieon." I said as I gave him a big hug. He reminded me so much of his father. He was the spitting image of him and he acted just like him.

"Now come on and let's catch a good movie."

We stayed up watching movies and eating all kinds of food in the bed. I knew Jay was going to kill us if he found out that we were eating in his bed. Davieon phone kept going off and I knew it was his little girlfriend, I felt bad that he had to stay here and watch over me.
