After getting off the phone that day I started packing up my things with the help of Shannon. Shannon was against me moving with Jay at first but I knew I was doing the right thing by moving on with my life.
I have been living with Jay for six months now and it is haven. He is so sweet and he doesn't mind me taking up his space. We share responsibilities of cleaning up around the house and Jay takes care of all the bills. I worked and was able to just blow checks. I didn't have a care in the world. Daveion moved out shortly after me moving in and I felt bad because I felt like Jay made him move out.
One day I drove past my house and saw that it was torched. I couldn't believe it but I knew Jay was behind it. I'm sure the neighbors tried to call me but I had changed my number. Me, Shannon, and Cassandra became thick as thieves and Jay also begin to let me in on a little of what he does in the streets. He had me wiring money to different places and although I knew I could go to jail for doing it, the life was really exciting. I was a bad girl and I loved it.
For two weeks straight I had been feeling really sick, this morning I woke up sick as hell and I couldn't get out the bed. Jay was out of town so I didn't have him to help me. All I could do was just kiss the porcelain god.
"Girl I'm telling you I can't have kids." I said to Shannon.
"I'm telling you what this damn test says." I had Shannon and Cassandra run to like three different drug stores and buy up a bunch of pregnancy tests.
"Doctors are not always right about diagnoses all the time."
"I can't have kids. The fertility doctors told me that a long time ago." I cried. I was scared out of my mind.
"Look Bitch you pregnant and you and Jay is going to be parents. Just make a doctor's appointment and cheer up bitch. You have your wish." On that note I begin crying hard and Shannon and Cassandra came and wrapped their arms around me.
"I have to get rid of all these pregnancy test before Jay gets back."
"Yeah that's all on you, I'm not touching shit you peed on."
"My brother is going to be excited. I'm so happy for you two. I betta be the god momma because I hooked ya'll up."
"He will have two god-mothers." I said corrected.
"Aww boo. We got to go shopping and we got to plan a baby shower. So much shit to do." Shannon said. I could tell she was a nervous wreck. At that time I felt bad for her because here I was happy to be having a baby and she couldn't even keep a man. She wasn't an ugly female at all she just put her career first and no man was willing to be played like that.
"Shannon chill out. I gotta make a doctor's appointment first." We all burst out laughing.
That next day I made a doctor's appointment and was able to just walk in that next day. To my surprise I was two months pregnant, I didn't think that I could even have kids. I was put on bed rest for the next month in a half because I had a very thin cervix and my doctor said I was high risk.
It was cool for the next week or so because Jay was still out of town on business and I was able to just chill around the house without being detected. I wanted to tell my parents but I needed to tell Jay first. Shannon and Cassandra would stop by from time to time just to check on me and I was grateful of them because morning sickness was a bitch. I was able to take my documentation to my job and be put on sick leave. Although I missed my students like crazy I was doing the best thing for my little bundle of Joy.
