I woke up this morning to a spinning room. Damn my eyes couldn't focus. Where am I? Oh yeah I spent the night with Jayson again. I rolled over to find an empty spot where he slept last night. I heard my phone ringing but I just couldn't open my eyes because I felt like I was going to die. As soon as I sat up I felt sick instantly and I ran to the bathroom where I went and praised the porcelain god.

"You need my help miss lady?" I heard Jayson say as he stood in the doorway.

I couldn't respond this shit was coming out of me as if I had turned on a faucet. Jayson came into the bathroom, grabbed some wet towels and began to rub my forehead with one hand while holding my hair with the other hand. Ugh Jayson was nasty, had it been the other way around I would've just closed the damn bathroom door. After I finished I pushed Jayson out the door so I could hop in the shower and brush my teeth. He respected my wishes and left out without a fight.

"What the hell was I drinking last night?" I asked as I walked back in the room wrapped in a towel.

"A strong ass drink. I tried to stop you but you was playing big girl so I let you have fun." He laughed.

"I don't even drink. Oh my god what time is it?"

"It's after three. Why what's wrong." He asked as he lit a blunt and took a pull.

"Where is my cellphone? My mother is going to kill me."

"It's been ringing all morning. I put your purse on the nightstand." He said as he left out of the room. I grabbed my purse and took my phone out. I had over twenty missed calls from my parents. I called them and on the first ring my mother answered. I also noticed Jay came and sat on the bed smoking a blunt.

"Kylah Marie where are you?" she yelled into the phone. Jay burst out laughing and choking on the blunt at the same damn time.

"Ma. I'm grown." I responded as I tried to pat Jay on the back. He waved me off.

"I don't care Kylah, you're my only child and when you don't answer your phone I worry."

"Mother I'm okay, I spent the night out last night."

"What! Is that why you didn't make it to church this morning?"

"Mother I overslept I will make it next Sunday."
"Who did you spend the night with that you couldn't get up this morning. Kylah are you with a man?"
" Ma stop it, I'm a grown woman. And yes I did." On that note I heard my mother take a deep breath. "Mother I'm fine."

"Kylah I don't want you to get hurt again." She whispered in a worried tone.

"Mother I'm in good hands. I promise."

"Are you with that guy you invited to the house the other night."
"Yes ma." I responded as I looked at Jay. He was putting out the blunt. I winked at him causing him to show his pretty smile.

" Tell him I want to see him in church next Sunday as well."
"Ma I don't know about that one but I will work on it."
"Why he's too good to come and praise the lord, I know you sleeping with him?"
"Ma I gotta go." I instantly said. My mother was getting to nosey and I had to hurry her off the phone.

"Okay I love you." She said and we said our goodbyes. I lay back down in the bed and threw the covers over my head.

" Here drink this it will help you feel better." Jayson said as he pulled the covers off my head.

Jay no. I can't drink anymore."
"This is how you get over a hangover." I grabbed the shot glass of liquor and downed it. On that note my phone rang.
