I'm in my classroom getting my day in order for my babies when I notice that my home girl San walks in my room.

"Girl it's so colorful in this joint."

"Hey San how are you?" I responded as we hugged.

"Girl I'm good. I miss you I haven't seen you since we left Vegas."

"My bad. I've been so busy getting my classroom together and I haven't had a chance to come and see you."

"Girl don't lie." She giggled. "We've been in school for almost a month. We need to hang out tonight."
"San I can't. I have plans."

"Yeah right. All you wanna do is sit at home and watch movies. Come on it's Friday."

"I will not be at home with movies, I have plans with my parents."

"Okay but you not getting out of this again. Call me sometimes I know you still have my number."

"I do. But look let me get finished my students will be arriving in a minute."

"Okay. Gotta get back to my room also but look have you talked to Jay since you've been back?"

She hit a nerve. " Naw'll he haven't called me but it's okay."

"Girl why not? You two were feeling each other in Vegas."

"I know but what's ya'll saying. 'live in the moment.'"

"Yeah well I think you let what Camille was saying push you away."

"No fuck her. I wasn't paying attention to that thirsty hoe."
"Good cause he misses you. Good bye have a good day. Love ya call me." On that note she rushed out of my room before I could respond.

I tried to shake it off as my students begin to walk through the door. Truth of it all was all I thought of was Jay. I missed him like crazy but played like I wasn't interested. I wasn't going to call him. If he was still interested he knew my number.

I continued to get the Students settled and begin to serve them breakfast to get started with my day.

By lunch time I was exhausted and I was very happy today was Friday because I needed these two days to recuperate from all the crying and different little personalities.

I was wiping a table down when I felt my assistant tap me on the shoulder.

"Uuuuuhhhmmm Ms. Remington someone is here to see you." She stuttered.

I turned to the door and my breath was taken away. It was Jay standing in my doorway holding a bouquet of flowers. I just stood there for a minute in a daze.

"Hello Ms. Lady." He responded as he walked in and handed me the flowers. On that note my assistant cleared her throat.

" Oh can you give me a minute alone please."
"No problem, I will go and check on the students." She said as she left out and closed the door.

"Hello Jay, what are you doing here?"

"Well damn I'm happy to see you too."

" I'm sorry, excuse my rudeness. Thank you for the flowers." I then set them down and gave him a big hug. He smelled so good I wanted to just bury myself up under him all day.

" I told you I was coming to see you when I was done handling that business."

"So seeing you I now know that everything went okay on your end."

"It always does. Damn I missed you." He said as he kissed my forehead. I just melted in his arms.

"So what's up with the last name?"
"It's my maiden name if that is what you're asking."
"Just checking. I had to call my home girl because I didn't know it and I know how strict schools are."
"Yeah did they give you a hard time."
"They tried but I'm a boss baby. Shit goes my way." He responded smoothly. "Sooo what's up with the colorful room?"
