Michael

Ever since that day we met in the gym, Alexis and I never really spook again. I would catch her staring at me every once and a while but we never spook until a couple of weeks after that.

I walked into the gym and found it empty.

"Hello?" I said.

"Over here." I heard someone say. I walked over and found Alexis standing in a yoga pose.

"Good morning." She said.

"Hi." I said back. I mentally  slapped myself. Hi? Seriously?

"My Dad is away on a business trip but my Uncle Theo will be here soon." She said still doing the yoga pose not yet looking at me.

"Ok." I said walking away.

"You know you don't have avoid me, right?" She said.

"Huh?"

"You haven't said anything to me since the day we met. It just feels like your avoiding me." She said looking at me standing up straight.

"I am just respecting your father's wishes." I said. She rolled her eyes.

"I am 25 years old, I don't need my father's approval or permission." She said.

"Well my bad" I said chuckling.

"My bad. It's just my dad's too over protective. He treats me like I'm 5." She said.

"It's a dad thing I guess." I said.

"Yh but I'm a grown up now so he needs to let me live." She said.

"Ok miss grown up, what was that thing you you were just doing?" I asked mocking the pose she was doing.

"It's yoga and if you don't stop you're going to hurt yourself." She said.

"What am I doing wrong?" I asked.

"Well to start off with, you have to bend your front knee more." She said pushing down on my leg.

"And you have to keep your back leg straight and your arms extended." She said.

"You should feel it in your stomach." She said putting her hand on my stomach. She made a little surprised face as she felt my stomach but she tried to play it off. I chuckled to myself and she looked up at me.

"So what does yoga help with?" I asked standing up straight.

"Stress. You really do feel better when your done." She said.

"Morning." Mr. T said.

"Hey." We said in unison. He walked over to us.

"She got you doing this yoga shit too." Mr. T said.

"It's not shit uncle Theo, it helps."

"So does real exercise, you know the actual physical sweating kind." He said. She rolled her eyes and shook my head at the two.
