Under These Circumstances

Michael

The bus came to a stop infront of a club. We all load out of the bus and got inside.

We went into a V.I.P area and got seated.

"Hailey, drinks please." Lupita said. Hailey gave her a look.

"You here to work. Not for what ever you thought you were here for." Lupita said. She rolled her eyes and went to the bar.

"I don't know why Michael fucking with that nasty hoe." Tessa said.

"First of all, I'm not fucking her anymore and second she not a hoe." I said.

"Anymore." Tessa scoffed.

"You acting like I'm the only one who messed around with someone they worked with." I said.

"Yes but the difference is, the only reason she still works for you is because you're a regular dick apointment." Tessa said.

"I told you, I'm not sleeping with her anymore." I said.

"Let's see how long that lasts." Lupita said.

"Why is my sex life any of you'll business anyway" I said.

"You right it's not." Lupita said. Hailey came back with the drinks.

"So Alexis, I guess you don't have a man, considering you just up and moved out here." Steelo said. I hit him.

"Seriously?" I asked. Alexis laughed.

"No its cool. He just asking a question. Yh I am single." She said.

"Good to know." He said smiling. She smiled back and took a sip of her drink.

After a while everyone's liquor started kicking in.

I wrapped my arm around Alexis' waist and pulled her closer to me in the seat.

"Are you having fun?" I asked her. She looked down at my lips and back at my eyes.

"Most definitely." She said smiling.

"Good so I might have a chance to convince you to come again." I said.

"Maybe." She said.

We went to 2 other clubs and by the time we arrived at the third one, Alexis was drunk.

"Come dance with me Michael." She said standing up.

"Nah. I don't dance." I said. She sat next to me.

"What do you mean you don't dance, everyone dances." She said giggling. I laughed at her.

"Guess I'm just not good at it." I said.

"Come on shorty, I'll dance with you." Steelo said taking her hand and pulling her towards the dance floor. I gave him a death glare as the walked away.

"Look at how Steelo is gone take your woman." Tessa said.

"She is not my woman." I said.

"Obviously not because if she was she wouldn't be grinding on Steelo." Lupita  butted in.

I looked on the dance floor at them. Alexis  was tweaking on him and he had a tight grip on her waist. I balled my hand into a fist trying to compress my anger.

"Don't get so tence, bro. It's not like he's  talking her home." Ryan said. I glared at him and he chuckled.

"I can dance for you Mike." Hailey said.

"I'm good." I said. After a few songs Alexis  and Steelo made there way back to us. He still had his hands on her waist.

"You missed out." She said winking. I couldn't help but smile.

"You guys up for some skating?" Chadwick asked."

"I might be too drunk to skate." Alexis said, her hips still moving to the music.

"That's what makes it fun." Chadwick said smiling.

We decided to go to a skating rink. As we laced up the skates Alexis sat next to me.

"I'm not that good at skating when I'm sober." She said. I smiled and stood up.

"No worries. I can help you." I said holding out my hand for her to hold.

She used my hand to help herself up and almost fell. I quickly caught her and pulled her into me.

"I am going to break my ass." She said looking up at me, with her accent Heavy now.

"Just hold my hands." I said guiding us to the rink. She nearly fell again and this time I caught her by her waist.

"Told you." She said holding on to me.

"You'll get the hang of it. One foot after another." I said standing her back up.

"Ok just don't let me go." She said holding my hands so they stayed on her hips. I closed my eyes and breathe and remind myself she was only a friend.

"Ok." I said holding her. I pushed her a bit around the rink. She started to become comfortable so I let her go and she didn't even notice because she was talking.

"Alexis." I said skating up next to her.

"Yh." She said.

"I let go." I said smiling.

"I'm skating!" She said. "I'm skating with no help!" She said, I laughed.

"Yh you are" I said. She got over excited and feel backwards onto her butt.

"Ok. I'm done." She said still sitting on the ground. She loosened her skates and took them off. Then started walking away.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"Out of this rink. Probably  get something to eat." She said. I followed her out of the rink and undid my skates as she ordered a bugger and fries. I decided  to get something  to eat too.

We sat at a booth and ate. "I am starving." She said eating some of her fries.

"Must be all the things you drank." I said. She rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. This is way I don't drink." She said.

"Why?"

"I never know how to act." She said. We laughed.

"You didn't act too bad." I said.

"I didnt drink alot." She said. I smiled at her.

"I really did have fun Michael. Thank you." She said.

"Your welcome. You're  a cool person to chill with and got along great with everyone." I said.

"Except Hailey." She said.

"Yh, sorry about her. I noticed she was taking shots at you all night." I said.

"It's cool. I understand she thinks I'm invading on her territory." Alexis said.

"territory?"

"Come on Mike. It's obvious you two have something going on. It's not like you guys tried to hide it. If I didn't know any better, I would think you guys are a couple." She said.

"Nah. I can't be tied down right now, honestly I wouldn't  have time for a relationship right now." I said.

"I understand that. Doesn't stop you frome having fun right." She said smirking at me.

"Not at all." I said licking my lips and smiling.
