Hey guys and Salaam! Hope everyone is doing well, and I'm sorry for sucking at updating recently. I suck big time because I began writing it a while ago and just never finished the chapter! I don't really have an excuse. My laziness has caught up with me again and I was doing so well for a while *Sad face*. Thank you for the continuous support and kind words though.

Quick question: who else finds it creepy when guys stare at them? Why do they stare at me, oh whyyyy? I look like a normal human being, I swear I am one... Or am I? Born in Jupiter, raised on Earth ;) oh and according to a family member, I was found in a bin and looked like a mini bin until my mother lovingly touched me and I transformed into the short thing that I am. Ok ok, I know, I need to admit myself into a mental institution.

On a less creepy note, I had the best birthdays ever! Haha, saying birthdays sounds weird but it's true. I had more than one celebration and each and every one was special in its own way! My friends from uni mixed with my other friends... actually come to think of it, my uni friends sat to the left and my other friends sat to the right, kind of separated. Oh well, at least they spoke, right? Well, I think they did anyway lol. Anywho, I would just like to say I have the best friends in the entire world... and to think I wasn't going to do anything this year. I'm glad they wanted to do something. Love spending time with them doing absolutely nothing.

One final thing before the chapter begins: I would like to dedicate this chapter to SufianBasith. You see that drawing on the right? Well, he drew that for me! It's his interpretation of Eva. Amazing or what? Best birthday gift ever!!! I absolutely love it to bits. Thank you so much, Sufian :D. If you want to see more amazing drawings of his, go check out his Instagram: Sufiaaannn. As promised, Sufian, I said I'll finish writing and upload it after Fajr just for you, so here it is ^_^... ok so that totally failed, the drawing won't show up

Hope you enjoy the chapter, please vote if you believe it's worth it and leave some feedback . Oh and a quick warning; this chapter does have some mature content and I kind of didn't want to write it. My deepest apologies!

Chapter Nine ~ Dreaming The Past

Eva cursed her way to her bedroom with the Crest tight in her hand. The words "Go to sleep, Eva. I have to go. I've educated you enough" echoed in her head, causing her anger to grow. How dare she just disappear without her permission, she thought. She convinced herself that she wasn't going to sleep due to Pandora's orders, rather that she was extremely tired.

As she pushed open the door to her bedroom, light filtered in through the corridor. Her bed, which was directly in front of her, pushed against the wall ahead, created a shadow from the light. The deep red curtains were closed, leaving the room in complete darkness when the door was shut. The streetlight alone usually was enough to help guide around the room, but this morning she didn't have enough time to open the curtains before she left and she hadn't entered her room all day until that moment. Eva stepped into the room, tripping over an empty plastic bag as she went to switch the light on to her left. She shut the door behind her and stumbled to her bedside table on the right side of her bed, opening up the top drawer. She deposited the crest into the drawer and slammed it shut. Well, she had to take out her frustration on something. She sighed as she took a seat on the edge of the bed, scolding at the pieces of papers, books and pens all scattered around her room on the floor. She was way too busy to clean up her room and she would never allow another to enter it.

Under the light switch was a large dressing table with a round mirror. Dust collected on the mirror since it was rarely used. There was a small chest seat with light pink cushions against the end of the bed. To the left of the bed was another door, leading to a spacious bathroom and adjacent to this wall rested a tall wardrobe. Eva liked her room, fully aware that nothing remotely matched. With the exception of the orange sofa in her office, her room was the only thing she changed when she first took over the building, everything else was kept the way she found them seven years ago.
