Let me start this off by saying, Jordan you are one lucky bitch that none of the stories I read were updated, or you probably wouldn't be getting this today. In other news, read on!

Jordan balanced precautiously on the top of the ladder, trying her best to keep steady so that it wouldn't move. She stretched her arm and carefully stood on her tip toes to get the book onto the shelf.

Just a little bit more, She thought to herself as she stretched her arm to the maximum it would go. Finally, the edge of the book touched the shelf and she could slide it safely onto the shelf. She let out a huge sigh of relief as she carefully stepped down the ladder. When she was safely back on the ground she grabbed a big pile of books from a table and looked at the next one to be put away.

"Would you like some help?" An unfamiliar, masculine voice asked.

Jordan looked up and made direct eye contact with a pare of icy, blue eyes. Hypnotized by them, she almost forgot to answer, but shaking her head she replied, "No thank you."

The man was tall, very tall, with black hair that had parts of it dyed silver. He was muscled, but not extremely, making him look strong but also very soft at the same time. He was wearing black skinny jeans with rips all down the front, a white t-shirt and a green jacket. Pink sunglasses hung from the collar of his shirt, and he wore black converse on his feet. All in all, he was attractive.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

Jordan frowned. "Yes, I'm sure. I don't need help." She said, almost angrily.

A hurt look crossed his face. "I'm sorry, I was only offering..."

Jordan sighed. "No, I'm sorry." She said softly. She turned again and walked towards another bookshelf. She was surprised when she saw the man had followed her.

She turned to look at him and he smiled a bit. "What would you like?" She asked politely, although truth be told she was getting irritated.

"What's your name?" He said, seeming genuinely curious.

Jordan furrowed her eyebrows. She had a name tag on, it wasn't that hard to figure out. Last time she checked, it was written in English. Looking down, she was goin to point to the tag when she realised the stack of books she carried was covering it. She sighed.

"It's Jordan, how may I help you?" She answered.

The man opened his mouth to speak when a loud voice cut him off.

"Jordan!! This is time to work, not to flirt with every guy that walks in!! Get to it!!" Her boss yelled.

She turned back to the bookshelf and started placing the books back.

"Hi Jordan, I'm Josh. Nice to meet you." The man said, unphased by what just happened.

"Hello Josh, or should I say man who made me get yelled at by my boss?" She answered cheekily.

Josh chuckled. "Sorry about that..."

Jordan turned to him. "It's fine, I get yelled at almost every single d-"

"JORDAN!!!! Come here!!" Her boss demanded from across the store. Jordan sighed and walked towards him.

"Yes, sir?" She asked, once in earshot of her boss.

He growled and pointed to a shelf. "What is this?!" The books on the shelf had all been pulled out and strewed about randomly on their sides.

"I, uh...I don't know sir. I didn't do that." She stammered.

"Then why didn't you fix it?"

"I- uh...I didn't notice it?" Her voice turned up at the end, making it sound more like a question than a statement.
