YEAR ONE: introductions

Before you proceed to read this story please read this note. I am the author of this book and I started writing it when I was 13-12? Around then. So too put it in broad terms about years 1-3 perhaps 1-2 are rushed and cheesy though vital to the story plot. Their are times will you will be like 'dude she is 11/12' and I apologize. Once you hit I'd say mid year three it slows down and much more mature and stable writing. So read at your caution however I am very proud of this book and id like to think that as the story progresses you get to watch Joslyn grow mature through the way it is written. So thank you so much for reading!

"JOSLYN BAILEY WEASLEY!!!!!" I groaned as I rolled over in bed. it's like 6 am noway I'm getting up at an hour like this.

we'll I should probably introduce myself

hello my name is Joslyn. I stand out a bit difrently from the rest of my family I have brown hair and blue eyes. and I SWEAR I was suppose to be a dwarf or somwthing. I'm 4 "11" feet tall.

I have 6 brothers and little sister.

my brothers are bill, Charlie , Fred , George (their twins), Percy and Ron, my little sister is ginny.

"sissy..." I heard my little sister from the corner of my room I shot up like a rocket just in time to see her wipe tears from her face. I squealed launching out of bed and wrapping her in a Weasley death grip. "what's wrong baby girl"

I cooed softly in her ear

"mummy wants to talk to you, you have mail. you and Ron actually." she finished it off with another sniffle. the gears in my head started spinning 'okay it's two weeks from September 1st and I have mail, I never get mail.... I just turned 11 as did ron.' " calm down gin it's probably just a birthday card from uncle lupin or something"

she nodded and we descended down the stairs of the burrow "you summoned me mum!" I tripped on the last step though falling onto Ronald

I scrambled off of him then held my hand out to help pick him up "sorry ron" he grunted getting up "it's fine Jos mum wants us?"

"yeah come on!" we grabbed each other's hand hand and burst through the door singing our song "nanananananana jon man!" we say jon cause its both our names combined together.

smart? no? well we thought so

I'm definitely not gonna be ravenclaw.... WAIT HOGWARTS!!!!!! "AWHH HAHA GIMME!!!" I squealed lunging at mum of course It didn't get me far cause she's 6 inches taller than me..

but a girl can try. I gasped trying to reach my letter mum now held over her head. I turned to ron who had his nose scrunched up in confusion

" our HOGWARTS letters ronald!!!" I emphasized the word Hogwarts. his eyes widened before he too tried reaching I'm about 3 inches smaller than him and an inch taller than ginny.

"sit down" she snapped at us. we bith hung our heads but headed to table none the less. she passed our letters out and it was officially looking with the HOGWARTS seal and everything

I opened it and a letter came out I jumped up out of my sit to grab it. it fell under the table. but being the brilliant person I am hit my head coming back up. throwing ron and ginny in to a fit of giggle "Oi! come off it ron"

the letter read

"joslyn bailey Weasley has been accepted into hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. attached to this note is a list of supplies you will need for the following school year

we will be expecting a owl no later than August 31st

"wow...."

I breathed out

me and Ron both turned to each other at the same time

" WERE GOING TO HOGWARTS BABAAAAAYY! !"

we chorused jumping and dancing together

I can't wait!
