I wake up in the middle of the night with a sharp pain in my abdomen. I shake Tobias awake. "Tobias wake up. Its time!"
We quickly gather the baby bag and rush to the car. On our way there he tries to comfort me.
We rush to the infirmary. They wheel in a wheelchair. Tobias plops me in the wheelchair. "Tobias you have to be there with me!!" I almost scream. The contractions are getting so much stronger.
By the time I get into a room, The baby's is crowning. They say as soon as the baby head was showing I could push. Christina says,"Okay. It's time to push. Are you ready, Tris?" I nod my head because I can't talk. "3.......2.......1..... NOW PUSH TRIS! YOU CAN DO THIS! YOU ARE A LOT STRONGER THAN YOU THINK!" She screams at me. It feels like she busted my eardrum.
Soon enough I hear a baby crying. They have Tobias cut the umbilical cord and they clean the baby up.Then a few minutes a baby girl is in my arms. It feels so great to have her in my arms. All this time I was carrying a baby girl. "Her name is Evelyn Christina Eaton."
Tobias says," I didn't know you wanted to name her after my mom." I didn't tell him because he wouldn't really like it.
But I think Evelyn is a great name and so does Tobias.
