Its been 4 weeks since the nurse had said that to me. I haven't seen her since because the hospital released me the next day.
I go back to the hospital every day to see Louis but they wont let me visit him.
From what I hear, he hasn't woke up yet.
I've thought about telling Louis about what the nurse had said. I thought of a million ways to tell him but none of them seemed to sound right.
I know I have feelings for Louis, but it couldn't be love at first sight, could it???
No, it can't be.... I don't love him, right?
A phone ringing cuts off my thoughts.
I look around in confusion before remembering that I had recently got a new cell phone.
The only person that I gave my number to was the hospital.
I told them to call my number if something happens with Louis.
I scramble over to my phone and answer it before it goes to voicemail.
I answer, out of breath, man I'm out of shape.
"Hello?"
There was a slight crackle on the other line before I got a response.
"Hello, is this Cassi?"
I nod my head vigorously before realizing that the lady can't see me.
"Yes."
I respond quickly.
"Louis woke up and-"
I cut her off.
"Oh my gosh! That's amazing!!"
The lady sighs.
"Ma'am I wasn't finished... can I finish?"
I nod once again, eager to know the news, forgetting that she can't see me.
"Yea, sure."
I hear her take a breath before continuing.
"When Louis woke up, the first thing he did was ask about you."
