Aaron carried her inside and Willie looked at him then at Kylie. Aaron didn't wait for the elder man to speak, he went and laid Kylie on her bed gently before going back.
"Thank you for taking care of her." Willie said in a hoarse voice
"It's not a problem."
"Get some rest, when you both wake up we'll disscuss away for her to get away from him as cleanly as possible."
Aaron nodded and laid down on the couch and feel asleep quicly as relief flooded through him
He was up an hour or two later. He and Willie sat starting to make ideas "The way I see it is a restraining order. Seems like sh'es told him it's over plenty of time but he won't listen. He's got his claws dug into his victum and being the vultor he he is he's not going to let the corpse go until he's picked off every piece of meat." Willie grumbled.
"That's true but that will require a court hearing and I ouldn't want to go through that if I were her." Aaron sighed "Thebruises would fade by then and then what do we have for evidence?"
"We'll take pictures, go to the police now so they can see now."
"Dan's going to point out the bruise on her face. The one from me. They could twist it against us easily."
Kylie woke up to their voices and listened in as she walked out toward them.
"They can find a way to match the bruises to his hands." Willie sighed, knowing Aaron was right. "There's got to be a way to prove he did it."
Kylie waited and both the guys at the table paused to think. She got an idea she didn't like, but if it was for the better she could do it....Slowly she stepped foreward and said in her bravest voice possible "I have an idea how we can prove it."
Both of them turned to face her "You're up? What's your idea?" Willie asked
"You're not going to like it." She sighed and went to sit down. Aaron looked at her trying to figure out what she could possibly be thinking and feeling. yllie took a deep breath,"We have to...show...him...in the act."
"NO!" Both of them burst out following her train of thought.
"I will not allow him to hit you anymore so we can record it in someway. We don't need that. I'm not letting you go through this any more." Willie said sternly.
"It's ok, I'll do it....I don't like it but if it will get him away from me forever I'll bear it one last time."
"NO!" THey both yelled again.
"Well do you have any better ideas? I don't want to get hit anymore but I'm going to do what needs to be done." Kylie's voice shook horribly as her eyes watered up. Willie wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him in a safe place.
"We'll think of something." Willie stroked her hair. "You won't have to do that. We'll do to the police station and press charges, see a lawyer and see what they say could happen." Kylie just nodded clutching onto her last bit of family. The two life lines she had were both here for her and she'd never felt safer.
