Another person in my house, and another trip to IKEA. I can hear Matthias squealing. You wouldn't think if by looking at him, but that big blonde loves home decor.

I will admit, I'm excited to have Kaz in the house. It feels like we're getting the gang back together even if we've all been going to the same school for the past 4 years. But once we all graduated and moved into the house my long lost uncle left to me, it felt like we were back together again. But Kaz wasn't there.

I'm cleaning up the living room when I hear the front door slam shut, and Nina and Kaz waltz in each carrying two boxes.

"Hey Kaz!" I say a bit to excitedly (I've really missed him.)

"Hello Wylan, miss me much?" He says with a blank face. The bastard hasn't changed at all.

"As much as I miss a zit on my back" I say trying to get a dig out of him.

He gives me a small smile and the satisfaction that washes over me is enough for me to stop talking and show him where his room is.

"You're on the second floor across from Inej. You have to share a bathroom with her but she's in and out so often that you'll probably hardly ever see her," Nina says as we walk up the stairs.

"How is My Dear Inej? I haven't seen her in quite awhile," Kaz ask. I notice his eyes gloss over for a fraction of a second when he says it.

Kaz and Inej were dating from high school through Junior year of college but they broke up due to "needing some time for themselves" and "it's none of your business Wylan." No one has ever really asked.

"She's fine" Nina says with a shrug. "Like we said, she's always super busy looking for jobs or helping her parents out."

"Good, good." Kaz replies with a genuine smile.

"And here's your room!" I say, opening the door to a whites walls and a bed smack dab in the middle of the room. It's a bit drab but I figured Kaz would be the last person to care.

"Lovely," he says flatly.

"Oh don't worry," Nina groans. "Matthias is taking us all to IKEA tonight so we can get some stuff to decorate your room.

"Even more lovely."
