Everytime Harry would go visit his boyfriend in hospital, the more down he felt about what had happened. Louis didn't want Harry around half as much as he did with Eleanor.

Louis' memory had been muddled up by the pills he took. Parts about his life he could remember, and other parts were completely gone. You'd expect every trying to put Louis right after this, but no: instead, Harry always end up walking in on Louis and Eleanor, acting all lovey-dovey, like it's right, like it's who Louis actually loves. Why hadn't Eleanor explained to him that she was just a beard, standing in for Louis and Harry, to keep suspicions out of their relationship?

It all makes sense to Harry now: Eleanor's always actually loved Louis. Why else would she be doing this?

It hurt so much because now Louis actually believed he and Eleanor were in love, when it was Louis and Harry. But Louis wasn't looking to remember anything too soon. All the memories he shared with Harry - all gone.

The first time they met.

Their first words to each other.

Their first date.

Their first kiss.

The first time they said "I love you".

The first time they slept together.

Everything was gone, erased memories.

It was so much for young Harry to take it. Days before the accident, they were lying in bed, wrapped in each oter's arms as they dreamt the night peacefully away. And now, Louis, his own boyfriend, the love of his life, could not remember him.

He felt practically dead.
