Louis entered his flat that evening after visiting Harry's mum's house to find out if she'd known where Harry had gotten to, though he wished he hadn't because now, as well as Louis being worried, so was Anne. But he'd rather be at Harry's parents house than with Eleanor. Going on dates with Eleanor never used to be so bad because they were mates and it was easy. But after Louis found out the girl had a crush on him every date, kiss, hug, smile, was awkward. Harry didn't know about Eleanor's minor crush on his boyfriend and Louis planned on keeping it that way. Harry would lose complete trust in Louis, living in fear that he'd leave him for the other.

As soon as the front door slammed shut, a loud scream erupted from Louis, almost like a cry. He expected Harry to come rushing out to hold him in his arms, but then he remembered the reason why he screamed: Harry wasn't there.

Louis dragged his feet along the carpet, dropping down to the sofa. He had calmed down a little, but he was holding back tears while he thought of where Harry could be. After a while, Louis was still sat on the sofa, his phone rang. He sighed, answering it without looking at the caller ID, knowing it wasn't going to be Harry.

"Lou," came Anne's voice. "You might wanna check Twitter, love."

"Anne?" Louis suddenly sat up. "Why? Do you know where Harry is?"

"Yeah," she told him. But she didn't sound too pleased. "If you go on Twitter, dear, you'll get answers."

Louis had to mentally facepalm. Twitter usually has everything about Harry's life so he could've just gone straight there.

"Thanks, Anne," replied Louis. "I'll do it now."

"All right, love," Anne sighed, almost like she knew Louis wasn't going to like the answers he was about to get. "Speak to you soon."

"Bye," said Louis, quickly hanging up the phone.

He went straight to Twitter. "Hendall" and "HarryAndKendall" were trending. Louis clicked on them, many posts popping up. A certain picture caused his scrolling thumb to freeze as he stared.

There was Harry, all the way in America, with an unfamiliar-looking woman. Louis ignored the woman beside him in the car and looked at Harry's face instead: he looked broken, scared even. This only mean Management had set Harry up wth another beard. Louis was expecting his plan to come along when Harry was set up with another girl, but he wasn't expecting it so soon.

He had to go along with it. Now. He had to end everything. For everybody. He had to make life easier. For Harry.

He jumped to his feet and fled to the bathroom, taking the pills from the cupboard above the sink. An overdose was the perfect way. The fans would know the truth, and Harry no longer had to hide. He could be free, exactly what he's been waiting for, whether it's free with Louis or someone else. This was Harry's chance of freedom.

He walked back into the living-room and sat down on the sofa, staring at the bottle of pills. He set them down on the table, quickly taking out his phone. He smiled at the picture of he and Harry on his screensaver before sliding his thumb across the screen to unlock it, the picture of him and Harry slowly disappearing. Louis opened up his and Harry's text, sending one last text to the boy he loves.

To: Harry<3 x

Message: I love you.

Louis threw his phone across the room, tears freely escaping his eyes. He unscrewed the lid of the pills, tipping several small tablets onto his hand - there was so many, he'd lost count.

He took one final glance at a picture of him and his boyfriend before swallowing the hold load; he could already feel the burning sensation in his throat. But he remained still, in agony as he faught of the temptation to reach for his mobile and call for help. His body was growing weaker and eyes heavy as they threatened to close.

Within only a few minutes, they did exactly that. Louis' motionless body was sprawled out on the sofa, just waiting for someone to save him in time.
