Chapter 10: Cabanatuan

Daniel frowned, Seth tried to strum his guitar, Katsumi bit his pencil, Lester looking at the sky, and JC calling his girlfriend. March 26 is Kathryn's birthday and they are trying to figure out what Daniel should do to her birthday. 

"AHHHHH!!!! MABABALIK NA'KO SA KATAHIMIKAN NA'TO!" [AHHHHHH!!! I THINK I'M GOING CRAZY BECAUSE OF THIS SILENCE!] Lester shouted and rummaged his hair. They stared at him and continued what they are doing again.

"Pare, siguro tawagin mo na lang si Kath tas ayain mo na lang magdate." [Bro, I think you should call Kath and try to invite her for a date." Katsumi started with serious tone. Daniel frowned as they all looked at him.

"No! I can't do that again. I want something new that Kathryn wouldn't forget for her life. Something unexpected." he said and dreamed Kathryn awake. The boys making sound on the background. "What if Kathryn has her own schedule on that day?" Seth asked. 

"Yeah. I think you need to call her and ask about it." JC added as he finished calling her girlfriend. "What?! It will ruin the surprise!" Daniel exclaimed hysterically. 

"You just ask, DJ." Katsumi said while Daniel noticed Lester rolled his eyes on him. "Anong problema mo?" [What's your problem?] he asked and Lester playfully rolled his eyes on him like a girl. Daniel quickly grabbed Lester's collar shirt and Lester shrieked in surprise. 

"Charot lang papi hehe." Lester exclaimed and the boys laughed on his voice. "Alam mo dapat gamitin natin yang boses mo." [You know what, we must use your voice.] Seth said and the whole Parking Five agreed while Lester is confuse on their grins. 

(Phone call with Kathryn)

"Hello, Katreng! Babaita! Musta ka na?" [Hello, Katreng! Girl! How are you?] Lester speaking imitating a girl's voice.

"Po? Sino po ito?" [Huh? Who is this?] Kathryn asked.

"Hala! Si ate Lulu mo ito! Hindi mo ba ako naaalala?" [Hah! It's your 'ate' Lulu! Don't you remember me?]

"Huh? Ate Lulu?"

"Oo! Haynako! Hindi mo na'ko nakilala agad? Ang bilis naman talaga ng panahon! Ano musta na? Balita ko magbibirthday ka na sa biyernes iha!" [Yes! You don't remember me that quickly? The time flies so fast! How are you? The news spread that your birthday is on friday, girl!] 

"Ahm.. opo.. Ate Lulu." [Ahm.. yes.. Ate Lulu.] 

"So anong gagawin natin sa friday,iha? Handaan? Chibog tayo dyan!" [So what are we going to do on friday,girl? Dinner? Let's eat!] 

"Ay! Wala po ako sa friday. Uuwi po ako sa Cabanatuan, Ate Lulu." [ Oh! I'm not here on friday. I'll go home in Cabanatuan, Ate Lulu.] Parking Five's eyes widened on Kathryn's answer. 

"Ahh. ahm.. Ganon ba? Ahm s-sige. Bye." [Ahh. ahm.. Really? ahm s-sure. Bye.]
