Chapter 25: Unofficially yours

F L A S H B A C K (September 4)

"Kathryn! Kathryn! Baby girl!" Tito Dho came to her with sweats on his forehead and he was catching his breath. Kathryn catch her mother's eyes stared at Tito Dho's but she didn't care. She was actually worried on Tito Dho's expression.



"Oh? Tito Dho? Napano?" [Oh? Tito Dho? What happen?] she asked calmly because she knew that she would be the most panicking person in the world after Tito told her what happened.



"Si DJ, Kath! Nasa hospital.." [It's DJ, Kath! He is in the hospital.] Tito Dho said calmly.



Kathryn's heart pounded rapidly.

Her breathing became uneven.

Her hands start to shake.

Her eyes became glossy with her tears forming.

She became weak.



'No way..' she thought and shook her head.



"Tito Dho, tell me you are joking.." she asked and Tito Dho shook his head.



Her tears fell. This is not what she wants. She was not born on lots of dramas especially hospital dramas. Just hearing the someone special in her heart was on the hospital breaks her heart.



"Anong hospital?" [What hospital?] she asked immediately while swiping her tears away.

"Kathryn dahan-dahan naman!" [Kathryn slow down!] Tita Min shouted but all she can hear is her heart beat rapidly beating.

Kathryn ran fast as soon as they arrived in front of the said hospital. She ran on the information desk.

"Miss ano pong room ni—" [Miss, what room—]

"Room 525 po, Ma'am," the nurse said with a smile on her face.

She ran to the said room even though its very questionable that the nurse already know what she is about to ask.

'Maybe Tito Dho informed her??' she asked in her head. She shook her head and focus on going to Daniel's room. The hospital was not crowded that she expected.

When the door that she finally want to see is in front of her, her head was thinking so many scenarios, her hands are sweaty, her heart pounded rapidly and her eyes are about to cry.

"Go.. ahead.. Kath.." Tito Dho said with heavy breathing as soon as they captured Kath. She nodded.

She touched the knob and slowly twist and push it. Her eyes went bigger than a saucer.

She covered her mouth with her hands and she started crying silently.
