Chapter 18: Triggered

The hawk eyes glared on the tv sternly. His face was on sullen look. He didn't like what he was watching or what they are watching. He can feel the jealousy boiling up on his head.

It was the first air of Princess and I on national tv that the whole taping team took a break just to watch it. Unfortunately to Daniel, it was a scene of Kathryn and Enrique on Bhutan. The day where Jao gave a piggy back ride to Mikay.

"Ang cute!!" one of the staff exclaimed and Daniel's eyebrows lifted.

'This is so painful.' he thought while watching the light sweet scene of his love with someone else.

"Eto na nga ba sinasabi ko eh." [This is what I'm talking about.] he whispered to himself but Kathryn turned at him.

"Are you okay?" she asked as she sat besides him. He smiled a little bit and Kathryn chuckled immediately.

"Pottie, it's just a scene." she whispered to him. But Daniel just rolled his eyes.

"I know.. it's just.. I feel like... it's hard to explain.." he gave up and ruffled his hair.

"What is it?" she asked again but Daniel stared at her. 'You are too beautiful that everyone want my position right now.' he thought as he admire her face.

The thousands of word dilated inside her pupils while her eyebrows perfectly shaped in her face. Her pointed nose is seducing him to caress while her natural crimson red lips puckered.

"Hello?! Earth to DJ?" she asked and Daniel stopped daydreaming.

"Where's the Pottie endearment?" he asked and Kathryn giggled.

"Potpot, are you jealous?" her sweet and gentle voice rang on Daniel's ears. Daniel exhaled heavily. He doesn't lie in this girl.

He stood up and pulled Kathryn up as they start to walk outside the house.

"Ay walk-out?" one of the gay staff asked as they noticed them standing.

"Hindi po. Maguusap lang po." [No. We will just talk.] he said respectfully as he bowed his head walking.

"Ay may paselos siguro si baby boy!" [Maybe baby boy is jealous!] are the last words they heard as they stood outside of the balcony.

As soon as they are out of the eyes of the crew, Daniel held her hands into his chest while his forehead touched hers.

"I just don't like other boys so into you.." he whispered. Kathryn's heart starts to beat rapidly,

"I think I'm just gonna keep you.. like a gem that the other adventurers are trying to find. But the real thing is... I already found you and I'm gonna keep you to myself... only." he ranted sweetly while his lips touched her knuckles one by one.

"Don't say that.." she said slowly as her heart trying to stay calm and her glossy eyes looked at him while her cheeks are tainted.

"Why not my baba?" he asked while smirking. Kathryn rolled her eyes.

"Kinikilig ka ba?" he asked and Kathryn grin at him shyly.

"Eh ikaw nagseselos ka pa?" [And you? Are you still jealous?] she dared and Daniel smirked at her.

"At paano kung sabihin ko oo? May magagawa ka ba?" [And what if I said yes? Can you do something for me?] he dared too.

Kathryn blinked.

"Kailan mo ba ako sasagutin para hindi na sila dumikit sa'yo?" [When do you say yes to me so they will stop hitting on you?] he asked desperately and Kathryn was shocked on his question.

"DJ.."

"Joke lang!" [Just kidding!] he bailed but his eyes tells something else. They stared at each other.

"Are you getting tired of waiting for me?" Kathryn asked slowly with a frown on her face.

"Nooo baby.. that's not what I mean.." he said quickly and cupped her face.

"Then what is it?" she asked.

"I'm just jealous and crazy in love with you, baby. That's all." he said as his eyes keep on staring her eyes.

"Is that okay, ba?" he asked and finally, Kathryn nodded and smiled.

"Good." he said and kissed her forehead.

"Ay! May pa-kiss sa noo!!" [Oh! A kiss on the forehead!!] the gay staff shouted as they peek from inside of the window of Mikay Maghirang's house.

"Iba talaga kapag yung totoo ang nakikita natin!" [It's really different when we are looking at the real one.] one of their co-star, Sofia Andres said while smirking.

"Kayo pala talaga?" [So you two are really?] Dennis said, Mikay's father in the Philippines.

As soon as they heard the side comments, Kathryn and Daniel pushed apart and blushed hardly.

"Hindi po kamii.." [We are not a couple.] Kathryn denied.

"Halaaa namumula ohh!!" [OMG blushing ohh!!] Sofia Andres exclaimed and chuckled.

"Kath! DJ! Next!" one of the staff shouted and the couple approached the house immediately.
